Gatecrasher: Is she a Stalker or a Persistant "Admirer"?
Wargo/Getty for News Bardha Behluli, who was recently fired by Nino's Postiano owner Nino Selimaj (l.), says she's a Derek Jeter "admirer" and not a stalker.
Derek Jeter's most ardent admirer may have been fired from her post at Nino's Postiano - but at least the pretty brunette has plenty of free time to devote to her favorite hobby.
Bardha Behluli is denying that she returned to Jeter's home at Trump Towers the night after an escapade that got her fired from her job at the eatery, but a source inside the posh East Side residence says she did indeed come back.
"She tried for roughly 10 minutes to flirt her way upstairs on Monday night," the insider said. "But the security at Jeter's residence is tighter than the White House. "
We can confirm that the police were not summoned upon the alleged arrival of Behluli, who had tried to get upstairs with the restaurant's delivery guy to see Jeter on Sunday. Trump Towers would not offer comment on the debacle.
Meanwhile, the gal's former boss, restaurateur Nino Selimaj, said, "I don't know what is wrong with this girl."
But Behluli is insisting that she's only guilty of being an admirer - and certainly not a stalker.
"I'm a big fan of Jeter's, but I'm not crazy," she insists. Behluli does admit thats she was at Trump Towers on the first occasion. "The first time I went, I was just taking a walk with the delivery guy. It was my lunch break," she says.
But she vehemently denies being there on the second night. "I would never do something like that," she said. "I lost my job over this, and I'm trying to move on."
But we have news for you, Miss Behluli: Nino says you can have your old post at the hostess stand back - under one condition.
"If Jeter came in and vouched for her, she could have it back," he laughed.
But for now, he's doing what any good businessman would do: he's striking Behluli out so he can keep Jeter coming back to the plate.
