Three
7-Eleven stores have popped up in Manhattan, the first batch of a planned 100 outlets across the borough over the next five years.
The 103 West 14th Street, 140 Church Street and 676 Amsterdam Avenue locations go beyond the chain's beloved Slurpee and will premiere 7-Eleven's brand of $3.99 chardonnays and cabernet sauvignons, according to the Observer.
The 24-hour convenient store chain plans to acquire its new locations with new leases and by way of a business-conversion plan, where store owners are “invited to convert their existing business to a 7-Eleven store,” Ariel Schuster of Robert K. Futterman tells the paper.
