Tyler Perry announced the death of his mother, Willie Maxine Perry. Mrs. Perry died yesterday at the age of 64. Mrs. Perry, a New Orleans pre-school teacher, had been ill since August according to her son's web site.
There was no statement detailing what Mrs. Perry died from. On his web site Mr. Perry had this to say about his mother: "My mother is the wisdom of Madea, She was 64. Thank you for all your prayers." Theblackurbantimes sends their deepest condolences to Mr. Perry and his family.
