Tommy Pounds, a supervisor with Brennan and Associates, the construction company building the new Onslow County jail said that construction worker who fell approximately 20 feet to a concrete floor yesterday is in "grave" condition and is not expected to live more than a few days.
"His skull is completely cracked," said Pounds.
The injured man's family is en route from Honduras to see him at the hospital.
The man, who still has not been identified, was flown to Pitt County Memorial Hospital by East Care Life Flight that landed and took off from theRiverwalk Park.
