Prosecutors Seeking Involuntary Manslaughter Indictment Against Dr. Murray

California prosecutors are attempting to secure an involuntary manslaughter indictment against Dr. Conrad Murray, the doctor who had been treating mega-star Michael Jackson at the time of his death. Jackson died June 25 at his Los Angeles home.

The district attorney’s office is waiting for the Los Angeles police to turn over the case before presenting it to a grand jury.

Miranda Sevcik, a spokeswoman for Dr. Murray said the doctor had no comment and reiterated he neither prescribed nor administered anything that should have killed Jackson.

Jackson's family has made no comment on this latest developement at press time.
