CLIFTON — Police arrested two men for allegedly robbing two Ohio women in a Clifton hotel Friday morning, tying up one victim with duct tape and pistol whipping the other, authorities said. The men met the women at a Route 3 hotel just after 12 a.m., demanded money and flashed a handgun. One man duct taped one of the women, a 21-year-old, and pistol-whipped the other, a 23-year-old woman, when she resisted, said Detective Capt. Robert Rowan.
The gun discharged during the beating, and a bullet hit the mattress. A hotel desk clerk heard the shot and called security and police. When a security guard knocked on the women’s door, the 23-year-old victim told the men she would answer.........story here
