Earthquake Hazards Program has issued another alert stating an earthquake registering 6.0 strikes 716 miles off the coast of Colombo, Sri Lanka in the Indian Ocean. There have been no tsunami warnings issued at this time.
The quake occurred at 4:33 p.m. EST
