Michael Jordan new owner of the Charlotte Bobcats attended a Monday morning workout with his new team where he shot hoops, talked a little trash and some shop with coach Larry Brown and the Bobcats general manager Rod Higgins.

After losing a few games of H-O-R-S-E to rookie guard Gerald Henderson, Jordan told Higgins he had decided against signing guard Larry Hughes, but wouldn't rule out signing a guard to add depth as the Bobcats attempt to reach the playoffs.

Jordan, who declined to speak to reporters, has been part-owner of the Bobcats since 2006 and had the final say on the team's decisions, but was rarely seen. Judging from his presence Monday morning, it looks like the former NBA superstar may be taking a more hands-on approach with his new team.
