Phi Theta Kappa to Receive 99 New Jersey Inductees

Phi Theta Kappa will receive 99 new members this Sunday when Cumberland County College induct 99 students into the international honor society.

Phi Theta Kappa recognizes and encourages the academic achievement of community college students while providing opportunities for individual growth and development through participation in honors, leadership, service and fellowship programming.

To be eligible for membership, students must have a grade point average of 3.5 or better.

Approximately 200,000 students participate in Phi Theta Kappa programs annually, with more than 82,000 students inducted each year. Phi Theta Kappa inducted its two-millionth member in 2006.
