Brooklyn Teens Brutalize Bed-Stuy Preparatory Songbird

Another group of girls have gone wild, this time in Brooklyn, as they allegedly brutally attacked another teen with a padlock hidden in a sock. This assault follows a March 22 attack at a Bronx bodega in Mott Haven that left a young mother permanently disfigured because one of the brutes reportedly didn't like what the victim was wearing the day before.
Insanity at it's best.

Girls appear to be going wild all over New York City these days. The latest incident occurred in Brooklyn when five teen aged girls beat another teen in what's being called an act of jealousy.

Shacara McLaurin, 17, a talented singer who attends the Brooklyn Academy and Bedford-Stuyvesant Preparatory School was brutally assaulted by the pack of thugs as she stood outside the home of her voice coach, The New York Daily News reported.

Just before the attack, one of the girls, 16-year-old Aaliyah Smith, allegedly yelled, "Yo, b---h. I got a lock." Smith was apprehended April 4.
Four other females suspected to have taken part in the vicious beating are Decory Fletcher, 16; Ashanti Garner, 17; Brittany Williams, 17; and Chazmia Morrison, 17. All were arrested near the scene.
The girls, also accused of assaulting a friend of the victim, are facing felony assault, menacing, weapons possession and harassment charges. They have since been released without bail.

According to the News, Morrison, also a student at the Bedford-Stuyvesant Preparatory School, allegedly admitted she was in the fight, but said it was not planned.
Apparently, tensions between the girls stewed for several days prior to the attack because of McLaurin's participation in a talent show the school was having. The victim said the suspects were jealous of her and said the day before the attack, she received a message via Facebook warning her.
McLaurin's mother said the message said "they were going to get her and hurt her so she wouldn't ever be able to sing again."
There is no word on the medical condition of Skye West, the friend who was also attacked when she came to McLaurin's aid as the roughnecks attacked.
The April 1 assault left McLaurin with six stitches near her left ear, a deep gash on her face and a bruised jaw. A padlock placed in a sock was allegedly used to beat McLaurin about the face.
McLaurin reportedly auditioned for "American Idol" and told a Daily News reporter that as a victim of bullying all her life, she hopes that by speaking out will help others.
Britney Sanders, 24, is wanted by the NYPD for questioning in connection with the March 22 vicious beating of a young mother left disfigured by the attack. Sanders and two other females are being sought for the beating. If you have information on Sanders or the other two women, contact Crime Stoppers (800) 577-TIPS.
Mott Haven Bodega Assault on March 22
Last month in the Bronx, another group of females viciously beat a young mother as she shopped in Bodega in Mott Haven.
The battery allegedly came to fruition because one of the thugettes didn't like what the victim was wearing the day before.
The following day, the three females saw the victim enter the Willis Avenue Bodega near E. 137th Street and one entered and began pummeling the victim before her cronies entered and joined in on the assault.
It took all three of these cowards to jump on one person leaving her
face permanently disfigured after one of the ruffians used a jagged piece of metal to cut the victim's face.
The video footage shows other people entering the Bodgea to watch the attack, but no one came to the woman's aid. Her four-year-old son was reportedly outside the store while the attack occurred, MYFOXNY reported.
She was transported to nearby Lincoln Hospital after the March 22 assault and treated for her injuries.
NYPD investigators have used surveillance video footage of the assault to ask for the publics help in locating one of the suspects, identified as 24-year-old Britney Sanders.

Sanders has black hair, brown eyes and a tattoo of a set of eyes are inked on her lower back. She is approximately 5-foot-4 and 125 pounds. If you have any information on her whereabouts, please call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers tip line at (800) 577-TIPS. All calls are kept confidential.
