Maysa's "Motions of Love" Album

Today (November 8) on ITunes, Maysa's new album, Motions of Love (In Stores Now), assumed the number one position! Here is Maysa's follow up single which was co-written by Stevie Wonder.

Not everyone can boast of a new single called "Have Sweet Dreams," Stevie Wonder co-wrote, inspired by First Lady Michelle Obama on their new album. But not everyone is Maysa - the greatest soul-jazz voice of her generation. Certainly Maysa is no newcomer to the music scene but her new CD and ninth solo album, Motions of Love (Shanachie Entertainment-November 8, 2011) with cameos from Stevie Wonder and neo-soul crooner Dwele, promises to introduce her to the widest audience of her career.

The Motions of Love project, primarily shepherded by Chris “Big Dog” Davis who has also produced Will Downing and Kim Waters, marks a new chapter in the book of Maysa’s career.

Maysa got a hand from Dwele on the mid-tempo hand clapper “Flower Girl” that is currently making its way up radio station playlists. Another great experience has been making the track “Have Sweet Dreams” that features Stevie Wonder who gave Maysa her first music industry gig as a member of his Wonderlove backing group in 1991.
