Hip-Hop icon Monie Love took music aficionados back to the late 80’s with a verse from the Grammy Award winning pro-woman single “Ladies First” effectively setting the tone and kicking off the opening night to the 7th Annual Florida Entertainment Summit(FES). Those in attendance were in for a treat as FES was prepared with a night of art, music and fashion featuring emerging artists of all genres.
Serving as the lively MC for the night Monie Love was assisted by the musical stylings of DJ Lucky C of the Jam Squad DJs. The fashion show produced by E. Mackey helped to merge music and live art with the world of women’s fashion having an awesome line up of emerging female artist perform through out the night some of the performers included neo-soul songstress LyriqTye, Jazzie Rhia, Sarah Love and hailing all the way from the DMV Sunny Moné.
Fresh faces in the world of modeling strutted their fabulousselves down the catwalk wearing the trend setting clothing lines of emerging designers Kinsey London and Yasser Faraco.
FES continues Friday, Dec. 9th providing the ultimate artist/executive networking experience with Flo Rida’s International Music Group & Strong Arm Management (IMG/Strong Arm) hosting the Florida Entertainment Summit Edition of Good Feeling Friday.
