There's a new addition to cyber dating.


For those of you that enjoy surfing for your next Boo via the Internet, now you'll have a pool of inmates to add to your selection.

That's right, as in prison inmates. A new dating web site, Meet-An-Inmate.com, offers dating profiles of prisoners looking for love...on the outside.

HelloBeautiful wrote, "If you’re the type of lover that needs to know where your boo is nine times out of ten, having an inmate as your significant other is perfect. You always know where they are, unless of course that release date comes sooner rather than later."

I advise dating surfers to proceed with extreme caution when choosing to date prison inmates. Internet dating is tough enough (as is dating in real time), but when choosing an inmate, the adage "no holds barred" should definitely not apply to you.

Beware of yellow, red and white flags and institute a zero tolerance policy that will end your jailbird love affair should you find out about any huge deal breakers.

Interestingly, the new web site's Facebook page has more than 700 Likes.

Another poster commented how he was delighted at the "pool of eligible women who may acutally want to hear from me...and can't beat me up if i "write" something stupid...it's like a dream come true..."

I had a hard time pulling the web site up for further review, but maybe those of you interested in the site will have "better luck." Happy trails and remember to put safety first.
