About "Trust No One":
Monica James just lost her husband Rodney of 6 years in a fatal car accident. She thinks her life couldn’t go on. With the help of good friends and family, she knows she can get by.
“Trust No One” will take you along as Monica tries to juggle her husband’s secret’s and lies while trying to fight the sensual tension for those around her.
Joey Pinkney: Where did you get the inspiration to write “Trust No One”?
Drica Armstrong: I got my inspiration to write “Trust No One” from a death in the family. The circumstances surrounding the death were so odd that I wanted to write a book loosely based off my experience.
JP: What sets “Trust No One” apart from other books in the same genre?
DA: What sets ”Trust No One” apart from other books in my genre is that my characters will tug at your heart strings while keeping you captivated from beginning to end. You can easily place yourself into the lives of each character in my novel. (read more)
JP: As an author, what are the keys to your success that led to “Trust No One” getting out to the public?
DA: I believe the keys to my success is first knowing my target audience. Once I know who I want to market my book to, I start on the ground floor with extensive marketing and promotion. I try to use one-liners that will keep the readers attention. (read more)
JP: As an author, what is your writing process? How long did it take you to start and finish “Trust No One”?
DA: My writing is very relaxed. It could take me up to six to eight months to start and finish a book. It took me about six months to write “Trust No One.” (read more)
JP: What’s next for Drica Armstrong?
DA: I am currently finalizing details to join a national book tour with a prominent author. My new novels, “Trust No One” and “Game Over”, will be released in 2013. (read more)
