About "In My Rearview Mirror":

Margo Myles is over 40 and giving birth to twins. But she doesn’t know who the father is – her soon to be ex-husband, Jefferson, or one-time fling, Malik Mason.

Joey Pinkney: Where did you get the inspiration to write “In My Rearview Mirror”?

Suzetta Perkins: “In My Rearview Mirror” is the third and final installment in my Behind the Veil series. In this novel, I wanted to bring the Myles’ family full circle and hopefully iron out some of the wrinkles of the past.

JP: What sets “In My Rearview Mirror” apart from other books in the same genre?

JP: As an author, what are the keys to your success that led to “In My Rearview Mirror” getting out to the public?

SP: It’s all about marketing. Marketing my novel is key to keeping my work in front of the readers. You have to be a social media junkie – meaning you must have a presence on Facebook, Twitter, email, and other social mediums. (read more)

JP: As an author, what is your writing process? How long did it take you to start and finish “In My Rearview Mirror”?

SP: “In My Rearview Mirror” is my eighth book. With the knowledge I’ve learned about writing, I’ve been able to write a book in six months – maybe less if it’s a sequel. With a sequel, I’m already familiar with my characters. Giving them a new storyline is the easy part. (read more)

JP: What’s next for Suzetta Perkins?

SP: I’m presently working on my ninth novel entitled “Silver Bullets” about the zany antics of women over fifty. (read more)
