According to the New York Daily News, the people at Fox are considering giving Michael Strahan his own sitcom. And hey, if they think that's a good idea, I'm all for it.
But I would like to express a word of caution to the Fox executives who came up with the idea: Just because something makes everyone on the set of Fox NFL Sunday laugh, that doesn't necessarily make it funny. For some reason -- and this applies to CBS, NBC, and ESPN, too -- almost anything said on the set of an NFL pregame show makes everyone laugh hysterically. For some reason, "Hey, Terry Bradshaw is bald!" makes everyone on the set cackle like an old hippie goofed on skunkweed and watching a Cheech and Chong movie.
