Prospect Park was a sea of violet Thursday night as a Prince-loving crowd watched "Purple Rain" and sang along to every song.
Brooklyn disco group Escort led the sing-along, celebrating the 25th anniversary of Prince's groundbreaking album and the outrageous movie it inspired.
"We love 'Purple Rain' and the '80s!" said Nandini Gopalarathinam, 38, dressed in a purple zebra print dress.
She was there with friend Anitra Gasaway, 34, who wore a bright lavender wig, violet snakeskin leggings and white ankle boots.
