"My mommy passed out a little bit," said Tahlique Garay as he spoke to 911 operators after finding his eight-month pregnant mother, Jennifer, 23, unconscious on the floor of their Queens home last week.
"She's got seizures," Tahlique said repeatedly, after providing operators with his address and a careful description of his house. He then rushed to the front door to wait for medics, FDNY officials said.
His mother has a history of seizures, said she'd told Tahlique what to do if she suffered a medical emergency when he was just two years old. She was amazed at how well he remembered her instructions three years later.
"I'm very proud of him. I could have passed away," said his mom, who's due to give birth to a little girl Sept. 15. "He not only saved me. He saved his sister as well."Way to go, Tahlique!
