Diddy dumps Atlantic Records

Diddy Leaves Warner Music Group

Sean "Diddy" Combs has left the building.

According to Billboard.com, the music mogul has ended his brief tenure with Warner Music Group. Oddly enough it comes less than a month after Vice President Kevin Liles severed his ties with the label.

In a statement released by the label, Diddy said: “It has been a truly rewarding experience partnering with the Warner Music Group and Atlantic Records over the past five years. Now that the term of the Warner deal has ended, I have elected to accept an opportunity to move my recording career and future label venture to another company. I have the utmost respect for Edgar Bronfman, Jr., Lyor Cohen, Julie Greenwald, Craig Kallman and the entire Warner/Atlantic team and look forward to our continued partnership in connection with the Bad Boy catalog.” --KNB
