Three men were arrested and about $750,000 worth of marijuana was seized from an area just north of Olympic Valley, Placer County sheriff's deputies said. Christopher Egger, 23, of Tahoe City; Steven Day, 48, of Olympic Valley; and Mathew Steele, 28, of Tahoe City were arrested on suspicion of marijuana cultivation, possession of marijuana for sale and conspiracy, deputies said in a news release.More than 200 mature marijuana plants were found at the Deep Creek drainage and more marijuana at another site, authorities said.
