Hip Hop artist, Nas can add the IRS to the list of woes he has. Reports state that the 36-year-old rapper is in debt to Uncle Sam to the tune of $2,584,206.31.
A lien filed by the IRS states that the rapper owes the money for unpaid taxes on income he earned throughout 2006 and 2007.

Nas born Nasir bin Olu Dara Jones in Queens, New York began his rap career in1996 as a part of the rap group "The Firm" which consisted of rappers Foxy Brown, AZ and Nature.
The group signed with Dr. Dre's Aftermath label, but the initial hype the group receieved did little to counteract the negative criticism and hurt sales of their debut album "The Album."
Their debut was their first...and last. The group subsequently disbanded in 1998 and Nas moved on to a solo career.

The eighth time around seemed to be the charm for Nas when, in 2006, he sealed a multi-million dollar, four-album deal with Def Jam and released the album "Hip-Hop is Dead."

Earlier this year, Nas was ordered to pay almost $44,000 a month in child support to estranged wife, singer Kelis, in addition to $45,000 for attorney fees and to hire a forensic accountant.
His wife filed for divorce from the rapper in April, citing irreconcilable differences.
