Jeter Goes From Ballin' to Begging on New York Streets

If you're a native New Yorker like me, seeing camera crews on your block or other city streets is no call for excitement nor is it a surprise. This is the Big Apple and it's provided the back drop for many great films and television shows. Seeing Derek Jeter out of uniform or not in one of his snazzy suits did come as a surprise.

Jeter was beyond casual on a New York City street recently: He was sporting silver-gray hair, a raggedy over coat and dirty pants, but worry not. Jeter hasn't fallen on hard times or anything of the such. He was in dress for a role where he plays the part of a derelict from Coney Island.

The 34-year-old Yankees captain has a part in a flick titled "The Other Guys." Actors Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg are set to star in the film as well.
