A small plane carrying two men has reportedly crashed near the Bahamas. The U.S. Coast Guard is searching the surrounding waters for the Piper PA-27 twin engine plane at this time.

The planes last recorded location was approximately 10 miles northeast of Plana Cays in the Bahamas when a Federal Aviation Administration controller reported losing radar and radio contact with the plane around 11:30 a.m. yesterday.

The plane originated from Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport on Thursday morning headed for Grenada. Stay tuned to theblackurbantimes for future updates.
