The Rev. Al Sharpton's daughter and ex-wife face a trial after their November arrests for arguing with police officers over a traffic ticket.

Manhattan Criminal Court Judge James Burke on Tuesday denied a motion to dismiss charges against Dominique Sharpton and her mother, Kathy Jordan.

"It's unfortunate that the court did not dismiss it - it really should have been dismissed," said lawyer Michael Hardy. "If we have to go to trial, we'll go to trial."

The pair got in trouble on Oct. 31, 2009, following a Harlem traffic stop in which they were accused of getting in a verbal tussle with cops after Dominique Sharpton drove through a red light.

Al Sharpton's oldest daughter was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest, while his ex-wife was charged with resisting arrest, harassment and obstruction of governmental administration.
