Montclair police say an employee at the New Golden River Chinese restaurant on Bloomfield Avenue set up a fellow employee to be robbed by having his girlfriend call in a fake food order so he could rob the deliveryman upon arrival.

Daniel Watson-Drakeford,22, has been charged with robbery after police say he accosted another employee of the Chinese restaurant at a home on Prospect Terrace around 11:15 p.m. as he was attempting to deliver the food order, punching him in the face and robbing him of $392.

The delivery driver, who was treated on the scene for minor injuries, later identified Watson-Drakeford despite the hood covering his face. The injured employee recognized Watson-Drakeford's voice and the clothing he was wearing, Detective Lt. Scott Buehler told the New Jersey News.

Watson-Drakeford's girlfriend, 21-year-old Stephanie Cerda of Hackensack was later arrested after she was identified as the woman who called in the fake food order.
Bail for the Chinese food robbing duo was set at $25,000 each.
