Members of the Clinton Fire Department and Clinton First Aid & Rescue Squad will compete in the first annual "Clinton Emergency Services Hoops Challenge" at the Clinton Township Middle School on April 9 at 7 p.m.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for kids under age 17.

This fun, family friendly event will feature firemen against EMTs in a coed hoops battle to raise funds for the nonprofit Clinton Emergency Services Foundation.

Bring your appetites and enjoy the food and bake sale. There will also be a 50/50 raffle and a t-shirt sale. The “Hoops Challenge” will be the perfect opportunity for citizens to inquire about membership information for the rescue squad and fire departments.

Established in 2006, the foundation, a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization, serves to fund the purchase of equipment for Clinton First Aid and Rescue Squad as well as the Clinton Fire Department who serve in the Town of Clinton, Clinton Township, Lebanon Borough, Franklin Township, Union Township and surrounding areas in Hunterdon County. The CESF donated $6,000 to the Clinton First Aid & Rescue Squad in December 2009.

If you’re interested in purchasing your tickets prior to the challenge, call Michelle Harrison at (908)328-6216 or Email: clintonesf@gmail.com
