Hate is a powerful word
But the dollar is more powerful.
Hate alone is a declawed cat:
Vicious, but not particularly dangerous.
Added with the ability
To procure implements of war,
Or to fortify economic fortresses,
Hate matures into a lion,
Or tiger, or bear. Oh my.
Threatening with the ability
To follow through the growls
And scowls with actions.
Dollar bills are the ligaments
That allow hate to perform
Feats such as: bombings,
Shootings, blocking employment,
Dehumanizing groups, and
To withhold information, replacing
It with misinformation and
Mis-education. Because
Hate misunderstands
The value of human life, but
Never the power of the dollar.
