An unidentified man was found lying on the street behind a Livery cab in the Kensington section of Brooklyn early Tuesday morning. Police say the victim, who may have been operating the cab illegally, appeared to have been shot in the torso during a robbery.

The 45-year-old victim was transported to Kings County Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Around 2 a.m. police received a 911 call of shots fired on Parade Place.

When officers arrives, they found a black 2004 Ford Crown Victoria had crashed into a parked vehicle. Upon further investigation, they found the male victim lying on the ground behind the vehicle, a livery cab.

Police have made no arrests at this time and their investigation continues.
