Ahh comida Latino! You can't get this stuff from just anywhere, mi gente. Getting this photo brought back many a sweet memory from my days back on the old block in the South Bronx. And much to my surprise, it's still there.
They made the best food! Mofongo, Alcapurrias...I'll be working out 4 days a week after I get back from the reunion, no doubt. But it will have been well worth it.
I can't wait for the reunion next month so I can go home and see the old block, the stores, my old high school, elementary school, my church St. Rita's, the priest and nuns, the people I grew up with...*sniffle*
