A Camp Lejeune Marine was shot and killed in an East Baltimore Street Hookah bar early Friday as he celebrated the Independence Day holiday with fellow service members.
WBAL-TV 11 News reported that 26-year-old Chase Love, an active duty Marine stationed at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, was shot once in the chest sometimes after 3:15 a.m. while on the dance floor of the Queens Hookah Bar, located in "The Block" strip mall shopping center in downtown Baltimore.
After he was shot, Chase managed to stumble out into the parking lot of the club where he collapsed. Paramedics rushed Love to Shock Trauma, where he later died of his injuries.
