Oquan Blake aka Samaad Blake was arrested without incident last night at approximately 10 p.m. at his mother's home in Newark.
Blake was wanted for the murder and sexual assault of a 7-month-old baby girl, Dalaysia Rhymer.
He is not expected to have a court appearance today.
Acting Essex County Prosecutor Robert D. Laurino Thursday announced the Essex County Prosecutor's Office had issued a warrant for the arrest of Oquan Blake, 24, of Newark.
