Police in lower Manhattan have released surveillance video of the man they say followed an 8-year-old girl into the lobby of a building on Forsyth Street in Chinatown Thursday afternoon and groped her.
Investigators say the pervert allegedly grabbed the girl from behind and fondled her before fleeing. They are asking for the public's help in identifying this predator and ask that anyone with information call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website at WWW.NYPDCRIMESTOPPERS.COM or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
