It looks like White Oak senior, Tremayne McNair will be calling Georgia his new home in the fall. McNair, who plays both quarterback and linebacker announced that he has verbally committed to Georgia Tech along with two other North Carolina athletes, Quarterback Vad Lee of Durham and defensive back Dominique Noble of Mount Ulla.
The three were said to have become friends during the recruitment process and join Airyn Willis, a quarterback from High Point who also committed to Georgia Tech earlier this summer.
The 6'2, 225 pound McNair, who maintains a 3.4 GPA, was said to have received scholarship offers from Clemson and Maryland. The senior Viking told The Associated Press that he wanted to make his decision and get it behind him so he could concentrate on his senior season.

McNair, who expressed a desire to spend some time on the defensive side of the gridiron, said he considered attending North Carolina, but fellow athlete Noble advised him to hold off on that decision because he needed to look at Georgia Tech.
Noble
"I think it’s great that we’re all going there together,” said Noble who believes Tech’s combination of academics and winning football can’t be beat.
