Nic-Fit Responsible For Bronx Slashing Near Yankee Stadium

He wanted a Marlboro Light...really bad.

Muhammed Rashid took a short break to catch a smoke outside of the Subway Restaurant he worked at on East 161st Street near Yankee Stadium.
As he stood outside smoking, a man, dressed in all black, approached him asking for a cigarette. When Rashid told him it was his last, the goon yelled, "You lie!"
According to the New York Post, the unidentified hooligan had been arguing with a woman walking with him, he wanted her to hold his Nike book bag, when she refused, he threw the bag to the ground and moments later, the victim was slashed. 

 

Police have not released a sketch of the suspect, who fled the scene after stabbing Rashid in the neck.

 

The victim was transported to Lincoln Hospital where he was in stable condition. 

"I didn't realize what happened. For a moment, I was unconscious," Rashid told the New York Post.
