The NYPD is asking for the public's help in locating one of the women caught on tape mercilessly beating a young woman in the Bronx last month.
Police released footage from surveillance video at the Willis Avenue Bodega near E. 137th Street in Mott Haven. One of the women, identified as 24-year-old Britney Sanders is seen assaulting the victim as her two accomplices join in and gang up on the 26-year-old woman.
Investigators say one of the cowardly suspects brutally slashed the woman with a jagged piece of metal, permanently scarring her face, before fleeing the scene. The victim was treated at nearby Lincoln Hospital for her wounds.
Sanders is described as 5-foot-4, weighing 125 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. She also has a tattoo of eyes on her lower back.
Police ask that anyone with information on Sanders whereabouts to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers tip line at (800) 577-TIPS.
