Why don't more black celebrities/athletes fund black tech startups? Not just liquor, clothing, and headphones..

Its just a thought. We just watched a great special on CNN's series-Black in America with tech startups from African-americans. So whats still wrong with this picture? They are all not funded yet! Its amazing that we have Justin Timberlake, Lady Gaga, Justin Beiber, Matt Damon, Leonardo DiCaprio, and now Selena Gomez, all investing in tech startups that are run by the same pattern matching crew that probably started Facebook.

Ok..I get you think its "safe" to make liquor, clothes, and headphones?! I mean come on! Think outside the box guys. No one is begging for your money, but at the same time, why not use your money to invest in something that's innovative that could change the world. 50 cent's street king energy drink is innovative in how it has a charity effect on Africa.

The other celebs are quite boring, investing in Ciroc, Monster headphones, and other items that don't put any money back into the community, other black families, or help create more black entrepreneurs. Quite frankly..its boring. Jay-Z's various investments and Diddy's investment portfolio equal over a billion dollars and you mean to tell me that they can get together and form a VC firm to invests in African-american run startups? Its the same thing all of the time..liquor, clothing, and headphones. Once these celebrities start to branch off their reach financially into investments back into the black community, by backing a tech start-up or a black barbershop...they're nothing but rappers with alot of money who don't innovate at all, instead follow the same old rhyme.
