ATL: death to reality shows by @Odiggler

So reality tv is at an all time High, it seems as if every show on tv is some portrayal of what real life is suppose to be like. Filled with lots of laughs, twist, turns, heart wrenching moments designed to have you and I turning off our phones and putting our lap tops to the side at least for one day and hour a week. The characters or should I say contestants or should I say actors are carefully picked to be able to touch all walks of life. From the sassy black girl To the party animal white girl we watch every week because we some how see a little bit of ourselves in each of the show members. It is our escape our guilty pleasure....our nightmare of which we can't and or refuse to wake up from

The reality of reality shows is that IT IS NOT REALity. I am almost positive that reality tv hasn't been actually raw and uncut since the first Realworld where Puck was the nastiest person alive and Tammi wasn't punching anything to the left of her. The problem is that "sassy" black girl who usually is the only black girl on the show isn't seen as sassy she is seen as the ghetto witch with an attitude trying to run what ever Beverly Hills mansion they're Placed in. Oh, and the party Animal white girl is seen as the house slut with no morals and tons of daddy issues. But times change right? Wrong, today's reality shows more importantly today's black reality shows seem like one long ass jerry springer Maury Povich mash up.

I said all of that to say this the premier of "love and hip hop" Atlanta comes on tonight and with the exception of Mona Scott it is filled with a cast of people I and I'm almost positive the masses don't give a crap about. I mean how many times can we beat this dead horse. But you can be sure it will be full of drama full of fights, full of themselves, and most of of full of it.

But in the end the networks only give us what we ask for so until we demand better we won't get better but as for this writer I say death to all reality shows. Except for master chef I love master chef.... Just kidding kind of
