RHOA'S Kandi Burruss is not going to the SO SO DEF 20th Anniversary....because she slept with Jermaine Dupri when she was in Xscape
By TBUT STAFF
So Kandi Burruss isn't going to attend the So So Def 20th Anniversary celebration. A few So So Def alumni are not taking it too well. Bow Wow has said that "No one would even know who she was without Jermaine" said Bow Wow. He blasted her on twitter saying:
"JD likes to keep quiet but... Yo Kandi is wack for not wanting to show up for jd for "20th anniversary so so def show" put ego to the side and give the fans what they want and understand w/ out jd know one would even know who you are. You aint Michael, this aint the Jackson 5. She act'n like she booked out like she too busy! Better yet dont come. The ones thats there are the ones who really got live for JD and the history of the label."The other part to this tricky situation is that Kandi and Jermaine used to be "friends with benefits". This was the alleged reason that the group Xscape broke up. Here's how Kandi addressed it in 2010 on singersroom.com:
“But just like anybody, sometimes you can work with people and you be like, hmm I wonder how he is in the bedroom, you know, and you just try it out… we hung out, we was friends, like playing pool, talking trash and then you know you hear somebody say yeah I’m a beast, I’m this, I’m that, you know how you can be around your friends talking about sex or whatever and then you be thinking like, I wonder is it that good, you know? Let’s be realistic, it wasn’t me trying to get anything out of the situation. We already had hit records. We already had hits. It wasn’t like I was trying to do it to get somewhere. It was just out of curiosity.”So the real issue might be that being that Kandi is newly engaged to Todd..she might be smart to keep her distance just to keep her man happy.

Kisha's RHOA Recap
These Southern belles entertain me weekly as a group but individually they are truly unique.
NeNe- I know this new found stardom is attractive and has her feeling herself but "Earth to NeNe".
Kim- She is preggo, lazy and just corny to me. Sure I'm happy for her new life with Kroy but can she just act more like a wife and not a spoiled brat?!?!?
Phaedra- I ❤ her! She is funny but more importantly she is driven. She is ALWAYS plotting and planning on making more money and I'm definitely not mad at that!
Porschia- She is young and happily married woman who has a lot of time on her hands. She seems like she just wants to please everyone and just be happy. This might rub some of the divas the wrong way.
Kenya- She is bitter. If she would stop acting so stank maybe she could get a man. She is clearly miserable in her life and you can see she doesn't like to see others happy because when others around her are joyous she immediately goes into attack mode.
Cynthia- Smh...She is STILL playing NeNe's #1 fan! Lol! Girl, get your life! (In my Tamar voice)
Kandi- She's happy entering her new chapter in life with her boo, Todd and she's actually packing and moving her own stuff; perhaps she should tell Kim that she too could pack her stuff too! Lol

Single people: curse of the clueless and blind by @odiggler
Last night i was on the phone with a friend at some ungodly hour of the night. We talked about all the usual things and the most ridiculous thing flew out her mouth. Now, let me hedge my thoughts by saying my friend is extremely smart and for all intensive purposes very right about alot of things. But on this day I felt that she may have been talking out her ass. What did she say? What did she speak that I thought was utterly and completely not based on any logic other than she falls into the category: "being married and being together are basically the same thing"
The only reason i even entertained this convo, was purely for research purposes... Ok and a little entertainment. It is this writers opinion that i dont care how long your in a relationship, there is no substitute for the religous and legal vowes you take. The only people who I know that dont share the same opinion i do is people who arent married. Reguardless of the divorce rate or the single man/ woman mentality marriage is more than just taking up space. Marriage is more than sharing a bank account and more than to people who dont want to be with anyone else. Marriage is way of life, its a feeling a legal and binding contract that means "from now and mutha freaking on" single and or bitter people maKe up some weird and oulandish idealogy about "its only a piece of paper." What these weird people fail to realize is that there is no substitute for the real thing. Using soda stream doesnt replace coke.
Marriage is hard
Marriage is long
Marriage is "from now and mutha freaking on"
But most importantly marriage is NOT something that should be used in conjunction with "we might as well be"
But i forgive these people mostly because the only way to know about marriage is to have been or be married.
Its ok single people we still love you:)

The death of the underground artist By @odiggler
By @odiggler
Last night I attended the AUMA'S (Atlanta underground music awards) on 14th street. It was lights, camera, and action for the Atlanta underground hip hop circuit. The media was there the and the stage was set to what I can only call a sub- standard failure. At the front of the door the red carpet equipped with media and cameras was a nice touch, but as there seem to be no organization to it. The security was great I did feel marginally safe at the event. But once the event started an hour and a half from the original start time... No surprise there, it immediately became to what I only compare as a mini " show time at the Apollo". The entourages we're at full tilt as they constantly yelled over announcers, performing artist, and obnoxiously yelled at how bad the sound system was as if they were performing (sn: the sound system was actually awful) then as if on a timer the aroma of weed floated through the Air. While watching the musical performances a female group as I'm not even sure if they even have a name, got on stage and did their best magic city impression. While entertaining I don't actually remember these lovely ladies performing a song. While the splits and booty shorts were extremely amusing and a great crowd pleaser i did not understand why they were on stage.
Through out the night there were many categories and many winners, but from what I could see most of the winners were not underground artist, nor were they in attendance. An of the hundred or so people that attended it seemed that the Same people won. The whispers of "fixed" began to escape people's lips. At the end of they day all in all the promoter made their money and if your one of the 5 underground artist that actually won, it was a small win for the little guy. But to quote what I think was my favorite comment of the night "it was ok but their is no one here who can change my life". Their right I came, I saw, and I went home with a bunch of CDs that I will never play and my clothes smelling like weed. Can't wait till next year!!!
Beyond that I weep for the future of underground music. Maybe because I'm from a different generation of music and underground music. When I came up the underground artist wasn't celebrated because there was nothing to celebrate. You grind, you network, and when your chance came if it came you grab on, hold tight, and don't let go. My favorite radio host Calls this the wussifscation of America, and this is just another example to me. When did "almost making it" or mediocrity become a celebrated achievement. I can't speak for anyone else but an award that tells me I'm "almost there is damn near offensive in this writer's eyes. Yes, the Indy route is the new route to take, yes..you don't need a major label behind you to get radio play these days, and yes.. it's easier to have control of your career by not signing on the dotted line to a industry machine. But having an award show to show your at the half way point is aggregous to me. Or maybe I'm just old fashion

20 things you should never say to your girlfriend presented
2) "You look like my ex." No one wants to be compared to an ex -- unless the ex is a model.
3) "You'd look better if [insert physical characteristic here]." Guys? We don't need to be told we should improve how we look. End of story.
4) "That waitress/chick at the bar is hot!" We get it -- other chicks are hot. We also have eyeballs to see for ourselves.
5) "My mom thinks you should [insert behavior change here]." We like that you've got a good relationship with your mom and all, but we don't need to hear what she thinks we need to improve.
6) "Your sister is a bitch." Hey, we're tight with our family -- family is off-limits. End of story.
7) "If you REALLY loved me, you'd [insert weird sex act here]." Guys, if you really loved US, you wouldn't say that kind of thing.
8) "Wow, you're a lot like your Mom." We may love our mother dearly -- but every girl has a secret fear of turning into her.
9) "I don't want to have sex tonight." It's a double-standard, we know, but it hurts our feelings to hear.
10) "We should go on a diet." We don't need you to remind us we need to drop a few pounds.
11) "Let's have a threesome with your best friend -- she's hot." Just, no.
12) "This one time I [incredibly long, detailed story about a sexual encounter]." We know you've had sex before us -- but we don't need it rubbed in our face.
13) "You're being too emotional." Guys, that's what we DO! We're emotional creatures! Leave us to it!
14) "There's no way that small shirt is gonna fit you." We don't need fashion advice from you, Mr. Potbelly.
15) "C'mon, I hate using condoms." Safe sex is where it's at -- you don't like it? There's the door.
16) "What's your (sex) number?" Not your business, thankyouverymuch.
17) "You're overreacting." Trust us, we'll figure it out. Just let us vent.
18) "Is it 'that time of the month'? Because you're being a bitch." Guys, don't assume we're crabby because we're on our periods.
19) "You look really different in the mornings." Okay, so we don't wake up freshly showered with a full face of makeup. Sue us.
20) "It's a guy thing. You wouldn't understand." Actually, we probably do understand ... that you're a douche-bag.

The best fragrances to get you laid presented by @odiggler
The usual suspects of stale, run-of-the-mill men's colognes are not on offer for 2012. Instead, what you have is an exceedingly fresh lineup of complex blends that reestablish cologne as an essential grooming accessory for men. From the office to date night, here are the right men's colognes for 2012, no matter the occasion.
At The Office
F By Ferragamo
$55, buy it here
Ignore the company shtick about this being an evening scent, because the pepper and lavender are better suited for the office. The Tonka bean is not so much a full-time ingredient but a session player that brings the right amount of Italian sprezzatura.
Kenzo Homme Woody
$55, buy it here
Beginning at just $55, this men's cologne for 2012 is a steal for what you get from the complex wood tones and vetiver. The upper notes of mint and basil may seem conflicting, but they counterbalance the lasting wood tones over longer days. This blend is evocative of other Kenzo colognes, which create a natural harmony, but is a modern take on bridging the urban and the natural.
Jack Black ‘JB’
$70, buy it here
Finally, Jack Black gets into the cologne game with a real contender, and at $70 'JB' is not messing around. This men's cologne gives you a fresh London barbershop aroma without the cheap afterglow. JB is the right scent if you work in a traditional office with double-vented suits, wingtips and catered lunches of Dover sole but has the right amount of individuality that you won’t blend in all together.
Date Night
Gucci Guilty Intense
$62, buy it here
After we spoke to Chris Evans, the face of Gucci Guilty Intense, we learned a lot more about this new fragrance. Lemon and lavender quickly give way to the stronger and, yup, we'll say it, “intense” balance of coriander, neroli, patchouli, and cedar. She won’t know what hit her. The bottle alone is worth leaving out especially if your bedroom has that Dante’s Inferno carnal sin motif. Best of all is the out-front honesty Gucci Guilty Intense embodies. It doesn’t pretend to be any other type of cologne than a date-night scent.
Narciso Rodriguez Limited Edition
$60, buy it here
Musk forms the top, middle and bottom notes of this cologne. Your intentions will be clear when you splash this on, yet there is really no other reason to wear a cologne consisting of musk alone. Thank goodness this one actually smells damn good because this one is pure sex.
We have 5 more must-try men's colognes for 2012...
Bond No. 9 New York Andy Warhol
$180, buy it here
It might be commercial and kitsch, but it packs a punch. The bottom notes of musk, vanilla bean and sandalwood create an unbreakable platform for the white patchouli, jasmine and citrus to hold up the final top notes of bergamot and cypress leaves. How this is evocative of Andy Warhol is not clear, but it is one of the more complex and mercurial colognes this year.
Formal Event
Cartier Declaration
$135, buy it here
Sophisticated French elegance in a bottle is your first thought when you open Declaration. Cardamom and warm cedar highlight this modern scent that harkens back to the Belle Epoque era. Like a well-cut tuxedo, Cartier Declaration is sure to make you better-looking. Apply this one sparingly.
Jo Malone Oud & Bergamot
$135, buy it here
The name alone tells you that you’ll get plenty of bergamot along with cedar and woodsy floral tones that are surprisingly masculine. If your pal asks you to stand with him as his best man, then wear this cologne. It’ll do for you what Pippa’s dress did for her ass, and you’ll go home with a stack of phone numbers and a few stories to tell.
Casual Sport
Ben Sherman
$55, buy it here
Unbelievably crisp and downright zesty is the only way to describe this sport scent. OK, so maybe you don’t wear cologne to the gym, but you should. Coffee, hay (yes, hay), vetiver, and musk prop up the middle notes of nutmeg and patchouli while lemon, tangerine and bergamot glide over the top.
Victorinox Swiss Army Unlimited
$78, buy it here
OK, so it also makes pocket knives, watches and apparel, but this is not the typical cologne to accompany a lifestyle company. Someone actually thought about how a Swiss Army knife cologne should smell. Alpine fir trees provide the requisite wood notes while absinthe and genepi liquor add the necessary machismo we all think is part of the Swiss Army prerogative.
Men's Colognes 2012
2012 is the year of the complex cologne, with unexpected pairings, like basil and mint with wood, to the bludgeoning effect of musk on every note. What is clear when you try these scents is that they take your personal grooming to a new level in which sophistication and style become indistinguishable. In past years you’d be lucky to find one cologne that could do this, but now you’ve got 10 to choose from.

The epic failure of religion by @odiggler
The epic failure of religion by @odiggler
When I was younger( than I currently am) I was not made to go to church. I was not made to get up every Sunday, put on my Sundays best and go praise the lord. Then I turned 16 and my friends and I started a gospel group and I began to attend church Monday- Sunday and even attended vacation bible school. While I was doing my church triathlon I got to witness the greatness of going to the spiritual house of your choice and getting spiritually fed to start off your week. But I also got to witness the dark side of the moon. I've seen a pastor kicked out by a church board, I've seen adultery within the church, I've seen cliques created all sorts of things that I'm almost positive is illegal but that's neither here nor there.
My group faded and I fell out of love with the organized church structure and go sparingly when ever my wife gives me the "look of death." the reality or at least the reality I see is that I've dealt with people saying I'm on the fence, I'm the devils advocate, I don't believe in God, and all sorts of accusations because I don't believe in God the way other individuals believe in God. This hypocrisy is what bothers me with Christianity especially black Christianity, because there is a difference; the problem with Christianity is that there is no room to be an individual, no room to make a mistake without being ostracized. Oh sure confess your sins publicly and you will be set free right?
How free could you be with you business openly misconstrued and wild accusations running a muck. I find myself more often saying I'm a spiritual person more than I say I'm religious. No, I don't go to church no, I don't bury my nose in the bible no I'm not on the deacon board, no I don't pay tithes and offering, but I love the Jesus and the older I get the more I realize I don't have to prove it to anyone but him.

There's no difference in paying for sex and dating!!! By @odiggler
Hi I'm Orrin and I realized I pay for sex. Not in the traditional since although I don't see a difference. I don't mean cruising the backstreets of Atlanta looking for a quick. Cheap thrill at whole sale cost. I mean the whole dating experience has the whole escort trick mentality to me. And as quiet as its kept, as secretive as it maybe us men have been tricking off for years and years and until us men open our eyes swallow the blue pill and realize that we are stuck in the matrix things will never change. But you are in luck because I am the one, I am Orrin here to save men from the agony which is the woman's matrix.
Ok, so luck hits you big. You strike gold by getting some fine ass woman's phone number at your local grocery store who is so clearly out of your league, that you find yourself questioning how in the blue hell you did it. Once you accept that your not as ugly as your ex girlfriend says you are you are, you wait the mandatory 3 days that Orrin says you should wait before calling a girl. She picks up you have this awesome conversation and decide that dinner in a movie is appropriate. You want to impress this girl I mean REALLY impress her.You decide that meeting her somewhere like Orrin has always told you is out the question you may NEVER get another shot at a woman of your dreams so you say you will pick her up and be the "TRUE" gentleman of her dreams.
You live in "any town USA" and she lives in "too damn far to pick her up USA" but you decide it's worth it. So let's do the math for tonight's date
Gas: $40.00
Dinner: $60.00
Movie: $20.00
Depending on the type of
girl...drinks: $40.00
Condom: $3.00
The dates over you both have had a great time she's invites you in and she takes you to that magical sweet place that your hand has been bringing you to for the last 3 months. You leave with a smile on your face and all it cost you $160.00
while your best friend who would never tell you this went to backpage.com and found oddly enough a girl that looks like your dream girl and got the same happy ending for $60.00 TOTAL!!!!
Sorry I have to be so graphic but I guess the point I'm making is if your gonna spend that much money on a date you better get laid. Regardless of how good she looks as a man you should never spend money on a first date like that wether sex is involved or not. There is nothing wrong with going to a park, going on a picnic, or going Dutch. If you have to spend all types of money just to prove your worth to a woman guys......
You never had a chance in the first place

Orrin vs the Fat women of America by @odiggler
Large women scare me to death. I don't mean amazon women, you know the 6'6 look like they play defensive end for the Dallas Cowboys large women. I mean the out of shape, sweat while they eat, always talk about working out but never ACTUALLY workout, blame everyday life like kids, work, and anything else that prevents then from picking up anything remotely healthy large woman. Yes I said it.... I Orrin have a problem with biguns, thickums, big girls, and any other chubby nickname you can think of for big women. I bet your thinking " Orrin's such an ass hole" or " you ain't all that skinny your damn self Orrin.". Well your right on both counts I am an ass and no I'm not that skinny but that's neither here nor there.
What irritates me is the Big women that feel so comfortable with their "body" or lack their of that they live their life with a point to prove. By point to prove I mean wearing clothes that clearly don't fit and will never fit, screaming how they can't stand skinny women and how they are Sooooo happy with them selves.
But what really pisses me off what really starts my engine the most is that from what I've seen, and I've seen ALOT of big women in my life; is most big women want an in shape muscular man. I mean what the hell??!!! It's such a asinine request if you ask me. The audacity, the arrogance, the smugness to ask for a man to be physically fit, top athletic condition, and maintains said athletic condition at all times while you get to freely hang out of your clothes and eat Cheetos like they are keeping you alive is more than a double standard.
Now I'm not picking on the pleasantly pump but I think as men and women we should start bringing to the table what we ask for.
If you want a successful man be a successful woman.
If you want a physically fit man, be a physically fit woman ( or a least attempting to be)
In the end I guess you like who you like and you can't help who you love and too much confidence is better than no confidence at all. But it's this writers belief that you need to be the person you want to attract

Curious life of the video vixen series pt. 1:The most powerful drug in the world #curiouslifeofthevideovixen
By definition of addiction means the fact or condition of being addicted to a particular substance, thing, or activity. As I get older and watch the style of music change, the sound of music change, and all the other big and small intricacies of the art form go in and out of style the one thing that has been a constant and will ALWAYS be a constant is the women.
Wether it's a Melissa Ford, Gloria Velez, or some random stripper from the jiggle hut women seem to be staples in music, and music videos. So much so that the same women who use to be props and no names are now building and becoming house hold names in the industry. It's almost amazing to see, and these days it's not just rap that employs the video girl these days. From rhythm and blues, to pop and alternative. Artist round up or I guess the pc term for it would be "put together a casting call" and your cities prettiest an most exotic women pour out of the city. Even on the lower scale when a artist is going to be at a club performing I can't think of the last flyer I've seen that didn't have a model next to him. The fact of the matter is the music industry on every level is addicted to the model or video girl, because of what having these girls in the videos, and flyers, and clothes etc says about the product.

ATL: death to reality shows by @Odiggler
So reality tv is at an all time High, it seems as if every show on tv is some portrayal of what real life is suppose to be like. Filled with lots of laughs, twist, turns, heart wrenching moments designed to have you and I turning off our phones and putting our lap tops to the side at least for one day and hour a week. The characters or should I say contestants or should I say actors are carefully picked to be able to touch all walks of life. From the sassy black girl To the party animal white girl we watch every week because we some how see a little bit of ourselves in each of the show members. It is our escape our guilty pleasure....our nightmare of which we can't and or refuse to wake up from

Atlanta shooter sentence to change death penalty decisions?
Ga. courthouse gunman gets life in prison after jury fails to agree on death(Associated Press) ATLANTA - A jury's inability to condemn courthouse gunman Brian Nichols to death has re-energized efforts by Georgia lawmakers to allow a judge to consider capital punishment even if there's no unanimous verdict, as a growing chorus of officials says it's time to give the policy another look. Nichols was sentenced Saturday to life in prison without parole after a jury failed to deliver a unanimous death sentence for the murders of four people. Minutes after the sentencing, Fulton County District Attorney Paul Howard became among the first to call for a revived effort to tweak the death penalty rules.
