I Can Only Be Me...Winter by Kisha Green

Well season three of Love and Hip Hop has not disappointed viewers thus far but there's more in store. This past Monday we were introduced to a beautiful Latina having lunch with fellow cast mates Radhidah and Tahiry and just like them, she too had a story to tell.

Winter Ramos hails from Brooklyn New York where she was born and raised. Introduced to the world of Hip Hop at an early age she has worked behind the scenes in the Hip-Hop industry for more than 10 years and has consulted as a wardrobe stylist for labels such as Ruff Ryders, Murder Inc. Full Surface, and Def Jam.

She is mostly known for her position as executive assistant to platinum recording artist Fabolous and executive assistant to the CEO of Slip-N-Slide Records Ted Lucas.

With years of experience in the industry, Winter has seen AND heard a lot. Never one to be a quitter she has taken her negatives and turned them into positives. One thing for sure is; she has no regrets.

Introducing Winter Ramos...

KG:Who is Winter Ramos?
WR:Winter Ramos is a child of God, great friend and hard worker.  Contrary to what most believe, I’m a selfless person who simply speaks the truth. With me there’s no nonsense, no chaser, no bullshit. Just real talk.

KG:When did you decide you wanted to write a book and why?
WR:I never thought about writing a book until early 2011 when an old friend of mine, rap artist “Jadakiss” told me it would be a good idea. I’d written journal entries for years but still brushed the thought under the rug until I met Tressa “Azarel” Smallwood for something totally unrelated to books. I found out she was a publisher and the rest was history. I believe everything happens for a reason and think God brought her into my life to share my story with women who want to repeat my past.

KG:Who are some of the authors that influenced you as a writer?
WR:I’ve always been a fan of Terri McMillan. Her books introduced me to drama-filled plots and kept me at the edge of my seat in my late teenage years. Since high school I've leaned towards African- American fiction stores. Currently, my favorite fiction title is The Dirty Divorce by Miss KP- not because she’s on my team but because it reads like a movie.

KG:Describe your writing life.
WR:For now, my writing has consumed my life. When I’m not filming episodes of Love &Hip Hop or on the movie set doing my real job, I’m up on late night calls with the Life Changing Books team, either re-reading my work, making additions, changes and whatever is necessary to get my story out effectively.

KG:Do you have plans to release more books?
WR:I would love to write more books. Obviously they would be fiction since I'm telling all of my business in my non-fiction debut “Game Over.” Who knows what the future holds…but yes, I’m optimistic.

KG:What is one word that would best describe you?
WR:Boisterous.

KG:What made you want to join the cast of Love & Hip Hop?
WR:After being approached by Mona Scott- I thought about that very same question. I figured  my experiences in the Hip Hop game both personally and professionally would shed some light on the show. My role is slightly different from my other cast-members since I’d both worked in the industry and had relationships with some of the artist for many years. I also believed my life story would allow some young lady to see that it’s not all it’s perceived to be.

KG:What do you say to critics who say you are just releasing this book because you are on a reality show and attempting to expand your 15 minutes of fame?
WR:Critics will always talk. You can’t please them all... so my advice to anyone would be to stop trying. But I can please myself and reach my goals. Being on Love and Hip Hop does give me a huge avenue to market my book but that’s not why I decided to write the book. The show airs for a limited number of weeks. My life story can help someone forever.  And let’s be clear, I don't want 15 minutes or 15 years of fame. I've lived that life already. I now want to educate females about what really goes on with love and dating in the Hip Hop world. And trust me….I give the whole truth.

KG:Being in the entertainment industry many people say those you encounter are
fake/phony, were you able to make real friendships?
WR: Yes, I've made some great relationships and maintained them until today. There are even celebrity’s talked about in my book, “Game Over,” who still reach out to me even though they KNOW they are in the book. Me personally, I’m not fake or phony so I don’t attract that mess, nor would I click with those type of people. Just note; you also have to be a good judge of character no matter what industry you are in.

KG:What lessons did you learn from your experience? Do you have any regrets?
WR: My lessons run deep. Most of my life up until now resembled a roller-coaster ride. I have learned the life of the artist, the ins and outs of working at a record label, and staggered my way through being the significant other of a few Platinum selling artist. So you can say I'm well rounded in the Hip Hop music industry. I have absolutely no regrets about anything that I've done or the bad things that have happened to me. Every mistake and every accomplishment has taught me something and made me the woman I am today.

KG:What advice would you give someone wanting to break into the entertainment industry?
WR: Don’t! I’m laughing-hard. Seriously though, if you are talented and have dreams that can be obtained on your own, go for it. Make sure you have thick skin and try not to allow a physical or sexual relationship to dictate your success. People will try to bring you down but you have to be able to keep pushing until you meet someone who will cheer you on and want to see you excel.

KG:Where do you see yourself in the next five years?
WR: In the next five years I want to be married with children. I hope to open several boutiques, write more books, and explore more entrepreneurial opportunities in life. I also want to provide for my family and friends who have been there for me when I needed them; especially thanking them for never judging me.

Kisha's Love & Hip Hop Recap

#RatchetRealityTV

So since Joe passed this drug test Tahiry has to make him dinner which she does and she reveals she has written a song about him called "Devil" and she wants him to hear. She is letting her guard down and with his track record she is going to end up hurt and even though her friends Rashidah and Winter have warned her, you can't tell her nothin'.

Rich is turned out by Erica because that broad is out of pocket ALWAYS!!! He needs to prioritize ASAP!!!

Erica is a joke but why the crocodile tears for Yandy?!?! You big and you bad why you need Yandy to cosign you?!?!

Erica's singing wasn't as bad as I imagined it was going to be but yeah it's going to take a LOT of mixing and auto-tune but at least she didn't sound like a wounded cow but she damn sure DIDN'T sound like Mariah either hell she DIDN'T sound like Amerie or Ashanti either but..,

Yandy was wrong to go house hunting in Jersey WITHOUT consulting with her man, Mandeecees but after thinking about it and consulting with her pud Kimbella who by the way looks FAB! Team #SnapBack is definitely in full effect.

She realized she needed to behave like someone in a relationship with her man and not her mom. Cool brownie points for making her boo a sexy video as a birthday gift.

Raqi has a rep for being an industry ho but Jen clearly was going to overlook that to attempt to co host a radio show with her but once on the radio with her Jen quickly reconsiders her choice, because Raqi begins to flirt with the rapper they are interviewing and this clearly is making Jen very uncomfortable. A few days later the ladies sit down to discuss what happened and it turned into a screaming much with tossed insults.

Raqi was really feeling herself cause she felt she had the upper hand thinking she could beat Jen so she was loud and disrespectful but mind you last week her scared ass left the restaurant when Tahiry was talking shit to her. Her ass wasn't that vocal then so don't act tough now cause Jen's a white girl. And bottom line she has a rep for being an industry ho and she showed that side flirting with that C-list celeb rapper.#AintNobodyGotTimeForThat

One thing I do notice is that Raqi is a BIG flirt and clearly if these men have women she doesn't care in fact she uses it against them in the long run and thinks it cool to throw it in people's face their men have tried to talk to her in the past.

My advice would be that if you don't want to be referred to as the industry hoe, one would need to stop acting like one! #StepsOffMySoapBox

Next week's preview looks VERY good and definitely filled with drama and action and without a doubt ratchet.

Oprah's Next Chapter: Cissy Houston

On February 11,2012 the world lost an amazing woman, singer and mother. We lost Whitney Houston and it was a heartache no one has quite gotten over.

Oprah sits down with the Houston family matriarch, Cissy Houston in her New Jersey home. This is Cissy's first interview since Whitney's untimely death and this interview was very real.

Oprah covered several topics including Whitney's first taste of drug abuse in the late 80's and through this interview we learned that it was her brother Michael who introduced her to drugs, not Bobby Brown as society wanted you to believe.

Michael currently lives with the guilt and fights his demons on a daily basis because of living with regret. He admits he's alive but not really living because he is still mourning the death of his beloved sister and says he will never forgive himself.

Oprah also talks about Whitney's friendship with best friend/assistant Robin a relationship Cissy didn't approve of and she admitted that she DIDNT know the nature of their friendship and it could have been a gay relationship, one that Cissy adamantly said that she would never approve of , nor acknowledge her daughter being gay and absolutely without a doubt condone it.

Oprah also asked about her granddaughter Bobbi Kristina and it was evident that
relationship is estranged because Cissy demands respect and Bobbi Kristina knows she can't treat her grandmother any ole kind if way.

Overall it was a great interview and questions were definitely answered as Cissy said she wanted to set the record straight with the interview and her book. You could see the pain in her eyes and emptiness that Cissy lives with because she too is mourning her Nippy.

Kisha's Love & Hip Hop Recap

#RatchetRealityTV

Erica- I am really confused. When did this bottom bitch win a Grammy, Golden Globe or hell even mentioned on Entertainment Tonight?!?! Why oh why does she think her coochie is made of gold?!? Why is she trying to issue ultimatums?!?! She's a pretty face but I take that back because her attitude has her looking UGLY, a woman especially someone's mother should never conduct themselves like she does.

Olivia- Is in denial that her music career is in the basement. I am assuming she DIDNT get the memo that no one and I repeat no one is checking for her. She might wanna humble herself. I am curious why after being dropped from J Records and GUnit her career has been on pause. I really believe 50 has her  blacklisted.

Consequence- I can respect his religious beliefs but truthfully he and Jen should have discussed his way of life BEFORE they had a child because she wants to raise her son as a Christian and he wants to raise him as a Muslim. Jen is too weak to stand up for what she truly believes in so ultimately she and the baby will be converting but on another note, I never can concentrate on anything but his teeth. O_o

Yandy- As a mother we never want to hear that there is anything wrong with our children and NEVER want to have to discuss surgery. Amir needs to have surgery to fix what is wrong with his kidney. Very emotional and passion filled chemistry between Yandy and Mandeecees.

Joe- If he don't take his Molly popping ass to rehab...Smh! I'm really buggin on how this fool passed an at home drug test when his ass just admitted on the last episode he was high on the episode before that.#WhereTheyDoThatAt

I don't know if he concocted this "relapse" nonsense as a way to get Tahiry back. As for Raqi I think their friendship was out of convenience on Joe's behalf whereas she was sincere hence why she's so hurt but tossing insults everyone she sees Tahiry out isn't going to make matters any better.

Kisha's RHOA Recap

This episode was just a mess and crazy mess centering around Kenya "Twirl A Wirl Girl" Moore. Last week Kenya revealed to all she would be releasing a fitness DVD called Stallion Booty and of course Phaedra and Apollo were pissed since it clearly was their original idea.

So since Kenya knows this doesn't have her looking good, she sets out to talk about Phaedra to anyway who will listen. She invites Porsha to lunch to try to smooth things over but Porsha saw right through it and wasn't buying it. This infuriated Kenya and the two ended up arguing and  insulting each other.

The show stopper was Kenya arriving charity event is a bathing suit and church hat attempting to make fun of Phaedra but it just confined what we already thought---> That bitch is crazy as hell!

Meanwhile Cynthia thought it would be good to play instigator and I saw a new side of phony from her during this episode. Playing both sides of the fence is never a good thing.

This will be interesting to watch the upcoming episodes and you know I will be watching. #MyGuiltyPleasure

Kisha's Love & Hip Hop Recap

#RatchetRealityTV

Raqi is hurt because she loves Joe and he is kinda doing her dirty because he wants his cake and eat it too (Raqi,Kaylin & Tahiry) and he needs to come clean and real with everyone and leave those drugs alone.

Tahiry is in a rough place because how do you walk away from a man you spent so many years loving and even though you are broken up you can't walk away now because he's having problems with his addiction. It's hard and even more so when you have his mother, Faye asking for help too.

Rashidah needs a new hair color. It's not having the same effect that it did when Rihanna did it. #GetYourLifeBoo

Olivia is talented and I understand she's not feeling Erica but ummm she's buggin to act like she's Beyonce or Mariah. Beggars shouldn't be choosy. She needs a record and here's an opportunity from Mr.Ed (Consequence) but her pride won't let her.

Erica is a loose cannon and she's VERY unprofessional and making a name for herself as the chick not to me around because she's so petty and immature. In her little feeble mind she might view her behavior of someone keeping it real but she will never been anything but a urban model with BIG model.

Jen and Mr.Ed- She annoys me but I do see where he's coming from regarding his faith in Allah.

Kisha's Real Husbands of Hollywood Recap

With an all star cast AND funny man Kevin Hart this show is destined to be a favorite amongst many. Every show needs eye candy and Boris Kodjoe does not disappoint. Nick Cannon provides witty comic relief, nothing short of what we would expect from him. Robin Thicke is good too. It's cool to see the R&B crooner in another light.

Duane Martin's Breakaway Suit was funny as hell but I did notice he hasn't aged well, Tisha Campbell must be working his nerves lol. Oh there was JB Smoove too and his input was good also.

Overall this a cute show and I do look forward to seeing it. Just the enough comedy to remind us why we love us some Kevin Hart and that it was genius to make a parody of the stuff we watch faithfully anyway. Great job Kevin!

Kisha's Love & Hip Hop Recap

#RatchetRealityTV

Joe- I saw side of this man I've never seen before. I saw a very vulnerable man. I was impressed that he had kicked his addiction for 14 years but to relapse wasn't a good look but I admired him taking responsibility, well partial because he should have been able to explain that to Raqi. I see that he wants Tahiry back but it's going to take more than a few chit chats. He put her through a lot and he's going to have to prove himself but AFTER he breaks up with his very young and inexperienced girlfriend Kaylin. O_o

Raqi- I think she's in love with Joe and you could tell in her eyes she was VERY hurt by the way he was talking to her but unbeknownst to her at that time he was under the influence of drugs. She needs to focus on herself and stop trying to be Joe's everything especially when he will ultimately break her heart and end up with Tahiry or someone...anyone but her.

Winter-She's best know for being Fab's assistant but now she's on the scene with a scandalous tell all book about her experience in the industry. Who she has been with as well as who others have been with. Hmm ...Sex does sell but more so when it's mixed with a Lil scandal. Get em girl ;-)

Consequence- I don't know who this Mr. Ed ghostwriter is but couldn't his dentist fitted him with a decent pair of teeth that weren't so big? I found it hard to concentrate on what he was saying because all I kept looking at was his choppers. I think his are bigger than Steve Harvey's. #YeahISaidIt

Jen- Consequence's girlfriend and son's mother. She was an entertainment blogger but left the scene for motherhood. She LOVES her man no doubt but Consequence seems to enjoy that she needs him. She gave up her independence and its a choice she soon regrets each time her and her boo argue.

Rich- Is a flirt point blank period! He cares about Erica but he has a wondering eye and if she's secure and won't easily trip they should be fine.

Erica- I don't know who this chick THINKS she is but clearly someone needs to bring her back down to earth. She's acting like she's has the clout of Beyonce/Naomi Campbell but is more on the level of Lil Mama. #YeahISaidItAgain. She should just enjoy the ride of being Rich's boo and enjoy those manis/pedis.

Lore'l- Who? What? Why? Good luck boo!

Kisha's Love & Hip Hop Recap

#RatchetRealityTV

Last season, we watched Yandy Smith end her eight-year management role with rapper Jim Jones. Since then, Yandy and boyfriend Mendeecees Harris have welcomed a baby boy, Amir and are just trying to juggle family and professional life.

Erica- The feisty firecracker is back and working on her music /urban model career with with manager and new boyfriend, Rich Dollaz. The two have recently begun mixing with business with pleasure which could be a recipe for disaster. She strikes me as an opportunist. She did this with Scott Starch. I can already see her mouth is going to be a problem.

Olivia- Former first lady of G-Unit, is back this season working on her new album and trying to come to peace with her manager Rich dating Erica. I see a weird love triangle in the works since I felt that Rich was in love with Olivia. She has a nice voice but apparently no labels are interested so she's just an indie artist.

Joe Budden- A talented free style artist who is a charming ladies man, that in the past has lived his love life via social media but now wants a second chance with his ex Tahiry. The only problem is she's not trying to hear it AND he has a girlfriend. O_o

Tahiry- A urban model with a big booty who is best known for her rapid-fire sarcasm as well as her painful and very public break-up with Joe.

Rashidah- A shoe consultant to the stars and recently launched her own shoe line, Encore and Tahiry's friend.

Raqi- Radio personality and DJ. Her and Joe are "best friends" a friendship that doesnt sit too well with Tahiry.

As a viewer of the first season I would have like some type of explanation as to what happened to Somaya and Kimbella since we clearly see Emily on Chrissy and Jim Jones spinoff show. The kind of just threw this cast together with the exception of Yandy.

Kisha's RHOA Recap

#RatchetRealityTV

Bryson makes his debut with his new daughter Bri'Asia. I hope he's finished shoplifting from Walmart. He is currently employed so that's a good thing. What he needs to do is invest in some clippers and cut those naps!

Kenya- Did this heffa just say people mistake her for Beyonce?!?!?! It is official she is CRAZY!!!! But why is she still sweating the issue about getting married to Walter when he isn't interested in her like that. Kenya is too superficial thinking that all it takes is a pretty face and a booty to keep a man. She's too old to behave the way she does.

NeNe- Happy that her and Greg are working on forever and congrats to them. Greg proposed to her last week and she accepted. Real love is hard to find especially in the entertainment industry, so why you have it you gotta keep it. The jury is still out on how rich she really is but I know she is not on Bill Gates level, that's for damn sure.

Kandi- Who told this chick to wear those glimmer shorts?!?! Only thing missing was a stripper pole.

Cynthia- I think she means well and I'm liking that she is having more of a backbone this seasoning. I like her and NeNe's friendship and I can see her being a big sister/mentor to Porsha.

#dying4booty Part 1: Are urban models the blame for females looking for the "biggest booty"?

Society dictates what is considered pretty and unpretty and with this comes pressure that women want the curves often shown in the latest hip hop videos.

We see them and we know their names Brooke, Buffy, Gloria and many more but in this instance this desire for one woman turned deadly.

So are urban models the blame for females looking for the "biggest booty"? Hmmmm....Im not too sure but let's examine the facts shall we?

Getting Ahead: Ocean Township woman translated passion for novels into career.

I was destined to be a star. That is what I told myself as I would sing my favorite Janet Jackson tune into my hairbrush while looking at myself in the mirror.

The dream was short-lived because reality set in. I was indeed going to be a star, but not for singing and dancing.

I had another passion - reading. I owe that to my mother, who was an avid reader and instilled the same joy in me. I loved mystery and suspense novels by authors such as Mary Higgins Clark and V.C. Andrews. I also loved reading about the rich and famous, turning to such authors as Jackie Collins and Danielle Steele.

After many - and I do mean many - years of reading and journaling, I finally decided to try my hand at writing. After getting feedback from my friends and family, I penned my first novel, "And Even If I Did," in 2006. This novel was a story about three Jersey girls looking for love.

This accomplishment sealed my fate. I had officially been bitten by the writing bug. I went on to release four more titles, all while operating an online radio show, Writer's Life Chats, and an online literary magazine, Writer's Vibe.

I had a passion for anything literary. After losing my full-time job as a medical assistant in 2009, I realized I had to make my passion for books work for me. During this time, I saw that social media was growing.

I studied the various mediums to determine how I could expand my brand and make money; hence, my author and product promotion services were conceived.

Through my research, I learned that the greatest challenge for authors was getting their work in the hands of readers.

I used popular social-networking sites to expose my clients to new readers. Given the success of my author clients, I decided to expand my services to other professionals who needed help with exposure. Today I operate my own publishing company, DivaBooksInc, which is the umbrella company for my services, which range from interviews, literary consulting and book/product marketing and promotion.

Although I do not have a degree in journalism or marketing, my motto is "Failure is not an option." With that attitude, I am destined for greatness. For every "no," I create my own "yes." Everything I have learned has come as a result of extensive research and determination.

What started as a hobby is now a thriving business that brings me great satisfaction. I am my own boss which makes me a proud entrepreneur. At one time I only saw myself as a health care worker. While that title was fulfilling, it was not as fulfilling as helping others turn their visions into reality. I take great satisfaction in knowing I help others make a living. Every day I think of new and unique ways to expand my brand while leaving a legacy for my four children.

Kisha's Reality TV Recap

BBWLA
These Cali chicks are just full of drama. First off Draya invites all the ladies to a all white party and everyone has on white EXCEPT Jackie. Of course Laura uses every opportunity she has to get at Jackie. This mean girl act is getting tired and its childish. Draya hatin on Brooke cause she got the King Magazine cover was lame but that's what females do...bicker!

TI & Tiny
Major prepares for preschool as Tiny wants to play matchmaker with TI's sister, Precious. Which was a disaster but I'm glad they clarified who she was cause all this time I thought that was TI's mama! O_o

Marrying The Game
This was the series premiere about rapper Game and his long time girlfriend, Tiffany as they prepare for their upcoming wedding but she says she hangs with Shaunie and Evelyn, she better be careful cause y'all know how those heffas roll and she won't ever make it down the aisle. Lol! Right now I'm not feeling this show because it seems scripted but I will watch a few more episodes to see if anything changes.

My Shopping Addiction
Natela- She is a label whore from Russia who will and HAS spent her rent money on whatever her heart desires. Her boyfriend James knows she has a problem so she hides it from him.

Judyanne- She is a compulsive shopper and has secret stash for her purchases and money for shopping. She's late on rent and everything else and is constantly owing everyone money because her addiction is that much out of control.

Addiction of any kind is serious and is always accompanied by denial. Neither of these women think they have a problem. Which makes helping them hard because they are viewing everyone against their shopping as a kill joy. I felt sorry for both ladies but I'm hopeful for them because addiction needs more than a hour.

Kisha's RHOA Recap

These Southern belles entertain me weekly as a group but individually they are truly unique.

NeNe- I know this new found stardom is attractive and has her feeling herself but "Earth to NeNe".

Kim- She is preggo, lazy and just corny to me. Sure I'm happy for her new life with Kroy but can she just act more like a wife and not a spoiled brat?!?!?

Phaedra- I ❤ her! She is funny but more importantly she is driven. She is ALWAYS plotting and planning on making more money and I'm definitely not mad at that!

Porschia- She is young and happily married woman who has a lot of time on her hands. She seems like she just wants to please everyone and just be happy. This might rub some of the divas the wrong way.

Kenya- She is bitter. If she would stop acting so stank maybe she could get a man. She is clearly miserable in her life and you can see she doesn't like to see others happy because when others around her are joyous she immediately goes into attack mode.

Cynthia- Smh...She is STILL playing NeNe's #1 fan! Lol! Girl, get your life! (In my Tamar voice)

Kandi- She's happy entering her new chapter in life with her boo, Todd and she's actually packing and moving her own stuff; perhaps she should tell Kim that she too could pack her stuff too! Lol

Kisha's Monday Night Reality TV Recap

BBWLA
These chicks are have some type of issue. Maybe it's jealousy or envy but as a woman, it's saddening that these supposed to be grown ass women can't behave like an adult ESPECIALLY since these females are ALL mothers.

Jackie- Needs therapy and meds...ASAP!!!
Laura- Phony as hell and since she loses weight and she thinks her shit don't stink, but she needs to check herself before someone checks her preferably with a fist.
Brooke- This amazon doesn't know her purpose and neither do I. Lol!!
Bambi- She's the only real one and I respect her honesty. Her rapping is kind of wack but overall she's a good girl.
Malaysia- I don't know why she's so brainwashed that Laura can't do no wrong. Wasn't she trying to beat her ass just last season?!?!
Draya- Be a mother instead of a wannabe.
Gloria- Ummmm...No comment!

TI & Tiny

I really love the family dynamic that they have. I really think that TI is truly involved with parenting and they aren't raising some a bunch of spoiled brats. I also was touched when Tiny arranged for the girls to bring her mom onstage at the show. Family reigns supreme in the Harris household.

Chrissy & Mr.Jones

The two clearly love each other BUT Jim needs to grow up ASAP. It was cute on Love & Hip Hop but now it's just annoying since Chrissy is a good woman.

Smooches XOXO

Kisha's Real Housewives of Atlanta Recap

This is everyone's southern guilty pleasure of watching these Georgia peaches. Sure Love and Hip Hop had us wondering did people really live like that but with RHOA it was a bit more classier but with just about the same amount of hella drama.

The season premiere kicks off with the familiar southern belles minus one lovely Sharee and weaveaholic Marlo. That was fine cause the usual suspects were back plus a new heffa looking for her spot amongst the ladies.

NeNe- OK, clearly this chick is REALLY feeling herself. The appearances on Celebrity Apprentice and Glee have her thinking her shit don't stink because she's rich as she often reminds her. This episode shows her arrogance and her relationship with ex husband Greg she is currently dating O_o

Kim- She's seven months pregnant with second child with husband Kroy and needs to be moved out of her current home within two weeks and doesn't even have a place lined up to move into. Kim is dumb and you can tell she didn't come from much that she is always over the top and just EXTRA!

Phaedra- She is about her business point blank. As if being successful as a owner of a prestigious law firm, she had her eyes on bigger prizes that will utilize her money and position to create brands and leave a legacy for her son, Aiden. Phaedra's new interest is doing animal funerals since she has already making money doing human ones. If that's not enough she has a line of stun guns coming AND a workout tape with her husband,Apollo to show the ladies how she keeps that donkey of hers in shape. You can say what you want but Ms.Parks is  going to be laughing all the way to the bank.

Cynthia- She is just as boring as she was last season but it does appear she is trying to have a backbone. Will it be revealed before the season is over? Well, one can only hope so right?!?!

Kandi- She's in love and I'm happy for her because her and Todd seem to compliment each other well. She's a smart businesswoman and she had recently purchased a dream home for her family so this is all about new beginnings. I look forward to seeing a more personal side of her compared to the mega powerful business savvy woman she is.

Sidebar- I didn't really like how Kim was hating on Kandi's new home. I thought that was pure jealousy because she actually had a home that she OWNED instead of Kim's 17,000 square foot rental that she was currently being evicted from. Also Kim's on again off again assistant Sweetie needs a stylist and a punch in the mouth.

Kenya- A washed up pageant winner who is trying to still remain in the public eye, by doing what? I'm not sure but she was already working my nerves for having the biggest mouth. She struck me as a rude gold digger looking to get married and knocked up but also in desperate need of some Proactive or a visit to a reputable dermatologist. You can already see this washed up diva will be very vocal this season.

Y'all already know RHOA is going to be filled with drama so grab your popcorn and let the southern fried fuckery begin...

Kisha's 10/8/12 Reality TV Recap

BBWLA
These females are a hot ratchet mess that makes no sense to me.
Gloria and Laura need to work on their relationship because after the fame and fortune is gone there will only be family left.
Draya- She better not let this lil bit of game go to her head either and work on being a better mother instead of a swimsuit designer.
Jackie- Needs her meds adjusted ASAP!!! Lol

TI & Tiny is so cute and this episode was the family eating healthier and staying in shape. I enjoy Tip's parenting. In the 80's we had Cliff and Claire and then in the early 2000's we had Run and Justine and now we have Tip and Tamika.

R&B Divas....NEXT!!! I just need KeKe to get on meds for her bipolar disorder.

Chrissy and Mr. Jones

I was really rooting for this show. I now have a change of opinion. At age 41 if Chrissy doesn't know where her manis and he's out all hours of the night, the last thing she needs to be worrying about is bringing another child into the world but more so seeking counseling to reclaim done of the self love she's clearly loss trying to keep up with the Jones's <---No pun intended lol.

Girlfriend Confidential LA
The season finale ended with Denyce getting a little bit of closure regarding her brother's murder. Eva planned a anniversary surprise for her boo and it was nice that they are working on forever. Nikki- Is just trying to see where her father fits in and just taking one step at a time as well as her relationship with her man. Kelly- Her career as a talent manager is continuing to flourish and even though its a male dominated industry she can hold her own while displaying she's indeed a force to be reckoned with. This was the show's season finale and I will be anxiously awaiting the show's return to see what the girls have been up to.

Later Gators!! =)

Kisha's My Shopping Addiction Recap

I know addiction is serious but did people really have a problem with shopping too much?!?! Was there a such thing?!?!

This new series examines addiction and those affected with professional help but like with any help, it's only effective if the addicted is open for help AND change.

The show introduces us to Roshanda a DJ from California who blows her weekly paycheck on shopping at the dollar store.

Yes, you read correct the dollar store. There ain't that much dish detergent and toilet tissue in the world for me to be in debt.

RoRo was so out of touch with the real world because she only lived to feed her addiction. It DIDN'T matter that her and her mother weren't speaking or if she lost friends behind her borrowing money she never had no intent of paying back.

I watched in disbelief that she was really ready to change but after getting the reality check she so desperately needed, RoRo was headed down the correct road of recovery and upon the show ending she had began to repair the damaged relationships and was paying her debts.

The other shopaholic was Heather a unemployed female living off of an inheritance in Nevada.

It wasn't every discussed how much she actually inherited but her outrageous spending habits afforded her to spend $30,000+ a month on whatever her little heart desired.

She was a compulsive shopper and lived in the bubble of that she could have anything she wanted. As result of that reckless lifestyle she lost friends and even family due to the inheritance from her grandmother. Mo money was indeed mo problems for this chick.

She reminded me of a spoiled brat and up until she was instructed to donate clothes to Dress for Success ( an organization that gives displaced homemakers clothes to re enter the workforce.) that was the only unselfish thing she did the entire show.

Ultimately at the end of show it was clear Heather wasn't going to stop her spending habits because she was so far in denial that it was going to take more than a hour.

Overall, this was interesting to watch and of course I will be tuning in because reality TV is my guilty pleasure.

What in the world...

As if reality tv isnt enough for us to get that daily dose of what is supposed to be a up close and personal look into someone's life, there is always someone going above and beyond to be extrememly extra in the real world. These people I often call thirsty because there is no other real explanation for such actions. Well in this case we have a man from Russia, Alexey Byko who gets the Supersized WTF Award.

So boy meets girl...

Boy likes girl...

Girl likes boy...

Boy and girl fall in love...

Boy and girl get married...

They live happily ever after...

Seems like the norm for two people wanting start a life together right?
Well, here is where the plot thickens, Alexey decides that he does indeed want to work on forever with his girlfriend Irena but first he must propose, but he doesnt want just any ole basic type proposal. So after some thought, clearly not a lot of it either,Alexey decides that he is going to make this a proposal- One that Irena would NEVER forget.

This dude went out a hired a movie set ensemable of people to help him re-enact a fatal car accident. There was fake blood and everything from a classic scene out of a Final Destination movie all the blood and gore one could imagine. He then called his girlfriend to meet him at the "spot" and once she did it would be lights, camera and plenty of action.

Irena nearly has a coronary upon arrival seeing her dearly beloved covered in blood and cuts and to hear those words that he is dead from the paramedic and she is heartbroken until Alexey rises from the "dead" to walk over to a greiving Irena who is now scared to death and is not quite sure if she is coming or going at this point.

Alexey then proposes fake blood and all with the theme for his crazy ass proposal “I wanted her to realize how empty her life would be without me and how life would have no meaning without me".

#WhereTheyDoThatAt

Irena was mad but later forgave him and they were married a week later...Smh! Let's see if Kimye can top that! Lol ;-)

Kisha's Love & Hip Hop Atlanta Analysis

This season us the public got to sit down weekly and watch dysfunction, chaos and confusion. These people were the butt of many jokes many times I didn't know whether to laugh or cry because something's were just too much.

Lil Scrappy was torn between his daughters mother, Erica and bootylicious Shay. This whole season we watched him go back and forth between two women. He was truly torn between good and evil and his mom didn't help the situation either because instead of promoting a healthy monogamous relationship she encouraged a playa's lifestyle.

Stevie J spent the shows season playing his daughter's mother, Mimi and his chick on the side /protege Joseline. He truly had his cake and ate it too and initially viewers felt sorry for Mimi but that later changed because people couldn't understand why a beautiful woman would allow a man to demean her every week. Joseline turned her negative into a positive by simply playing Stevie's game but according to her rules. She played when necessary and on her terms.

The show touched on domestic violence as aspiring singer K.Michelle revealed she was in an abusive relationship with hit producer Memphitz .He dangled that over her head and she sold her soul to the devil for the possible chance to become a star. So after walking away she still had to fight because no one believed her. Memphitz denies her allegation as well as his wife Toya ( Lil Wayne's ex wife ) I thought it was courageous of K.Michelle to reveal such a personal side of life to the public since we know plenty of battered women never tell or don't live to tell.

We watched Rasheeda and Kirk try to juggle marriage, parenting and career and on the outside looking in it appeared the couple had the perfect life. What cameras revealed was a struggling marriage that was in turmoil due to life stressors and in a society where people quickly turn to divorce as a solution, the couple took stock of the relationship and decided their marriage was MORE important than fame.

We saw a very vulnerable Benzino look for love and when he met aspiring singer Karlie, he thought it was a match made in heaven but unbeknownst to him she had her eyes on the prize and it wasn't him, it was what he could do for her. He believed he was in love and thought they could work on forever as a powerful couple. Reality set in and he removed those rose tinted glasses and ended the relationship.

Overall as many complained that this show like many other reality shows displayed African Americans in a poor light. I felt that although they decided to live out in the public's eye they all were unique and had a different quality.

I saw they all had different issues that they had to handle as well as personal demons to conquer as well. What we can learn from this show is that we ALL have problems and even though many would not admit they could easily identify with these people.

Many judged this cast but many lived a similar life minus the glitz and glam. Infedelity, Domestic Violence, Mental Abuse, Marriage, Lies and Betrayal are all things we have experienced at some point in time.

This show depicted real life and real emotions and although many didn't agree how they handled particular situations it was a glimpse into their lives dysfunctional and raw.
