Relationships: Will Nicki Respond to Khalid?

By Jas:

Nicki Minaj tweeted a surprised would be announced at 9 a.m. today.
The surprise-- her fragrance coming out in fall.
Image via Instagram

A weekend has passed since DJ Khaled, YMCB producer, has proposed to Nicki Minaj and she still has not responded.

Khaled claims this was not a stunt but of course suggested she could take her time to respond to the proposal. So now fans are watching, waiting for her response.

On Thursday, Khaled took to MTV to record a video expressing his love to Minaj, "Nicki Minaj, I'm at MTV, I'm going to be honest with you; I love you. I like you, I want you, I want you to be mine. Only reason I'm not telling you this face to face is because I understand that you're busy."

He continued, "We got the same symptoms, we're both suffering from success. ...You gotta take your time and think about it, I understand, but I know I have to be here today to let you know how serious I am and how serious this is to me."

And then Boom!,  finished the video saying " Nicki Minaj, will you marry me?, flashing karats for a queen.

Friday, we heard rumors that Minaj filed a restraining order against her producer. But this morning, Khaled responded to the rumors via twitter, “Y’all know better than that they don’t put restraining orders on bosses.” Followed by, “I’m the DON U witnessing greatness I’m the best that ever did it! JUS KNOW! #sufferingfromsuccess.”

So Nicki! We're all waiting...are you two getting married or are you going to stay true to Drake?

Kisha's Love & Hip Hop Recap

#RatchetRealityTV

Raqi is hurt because she loves Joe and he is kinda doing her dirty because he wants his cake and eat it too (Raqi,Kaylin & Tahiry) and he needs to come clean and real with everyone and leave those drugs alone.

Tahiry is in a rough place because how do you walk away from a man you spent so many years loving and even though you are broken up you can't walk away now because he's having problems with his addiction. It's hard and even more so when you have his mother, Faye asking for help too.

Rashidah needs a new hair color. It's not having the same effect that it did when Rihanna did it. #GetYourLifeBoo

Olivia is talented and I understand she's not feeling Erica but ummm she's buggin to act like she's Beyonce or Mariah. Beggars shouldn't be choosy. She needs a record and here's an opportunity from Mr.Ed (Consequence) but her pride won't let her.

Erica is a loose cannon and she's VERY unprofessional and making a name for herself as the chick not to me around because she's so petty and immature. In her little feeble mind she might view her behavior of someone keeping it real but she will never been anything but a urban model with BIG model.

Jen and Mr.Ed- She annoys me but I do see where he's coming from regarding his faith in Allah.

Kisha's Love & Hip Hop Recap

#RatchetRealityTV

Last season, we watched Yandy Smith end her eight-year management role with rapper Jim Jones. Since then, Yandy and boyfriend Mendeecees Harris have welcomed a baby boy, Amir and are just trying to juggle family and professional life.

Erica- The feisty firecracker is back and working on her music /urban model career with with manager and new boyfriend, Rich Dollaz. The two have recently begun mixing with business with pleasure which could be a recipe for disaster. She strikes me as an opportunist. She did this with Scott Starch. I can already see her mouth is going to be a problem.

Olivia- Former first lady of G-Unit, is back this season working on her new album and trying to come to peace with her manager Rich dating Erica. I see a weird love triangle in the works since I felt that Rich was in love with Olivia. She has a nice voice but apparently no labels are interested so she's just an indie artist.

Joe Budden- A talented free style artist who is a charming ladies man, that in the past has lived his love life via social media but now wants a second chance with his ex Tahiry. The only problem is she's not trying to hear it AND he has a girlfriend. O_o

Tahiry- A urban model with a big booty who is best known for her rapid-fire sarcasm as well as her painful and very public break-up with Joe.

Rashidah- A shoe consultant to the stars and recently launched her own shoe line, Encore and Tahiry's friend.

Raqi- Radio personality and DJ. Her and Joe are "best friends" a friendship that doesnt sit too well with Tahiry.

As a viewer of the first season I would have like some type of explanation as to what happened to Somaya and Kimbella since we clearly see Emily on Chrissy and Jim Jones spinoff show. The kind of just threw this cast together with the exception of Yandy.

Kisha's RHOA Recap

#RatchetRealityTV

Bryson makes his debut with his new daughter Bri'Asia. I hope he's finished shoplifting from Walmart. He is currently employed so that's a good thing. What he needs to do is invest in some clippers and cut those naps!

Kenya- Did this heffa just say people mistake her for Beyonce?!?!?! It is official she is CRAZY!!!! But why is she still sweating the issue about getting married to Walter when he isn't interested in her like that. Kenya is too superficial thinking that all it takes is a pretty face and a booty to keep a man. She's too old to behave the way she does.

NeNe- Happy that her and Greg are working on forever and congrats to them. Greg proposed to her last week and she accepted. Real love is hard to find especially in the entertainment industry, so why you have it you gotta keep it. The jury is still out on how rich she really is but I know she is not on Bill Gates level, that's for damn sure.

Kandi- Who told this chick to wear those glimmer shorts?!?! Only thing missing was a stripper pole.

Cynthia- I think she means well and I'm liking that she is having more of a backbone this seasoning. I like her and NeNe's friendship and I can see her being a big sister/mentor to Porsha.

How to react when a girl ask u to have sex

I was asked today:

Orrin, what do I do when a girl wants to have sex with me?

Ummmm....I dont understand the question. What do you do? Is this a trick question? Was this question written by a woman? Does the woman have two heads? Fur? 3 eyes?  3 legs? No legs? Tranny? Im lost.

If this indeed a true question i can only assume that this woman is either out of your leaugue, or hideous and either way im still not understanding the issue. To answer your question in short....BRO, BANG HER!!!!! But,if I must explain then I will. Because these are the only reasons I can conjure up for you to ask lets break them down.

IF SHE IS OUT OF YOUR LEAUGE AND WANTS TO HAVE SEX WITH YOU:

A woman that isnt in your attractiveness tax bracket wants to jump your bones? This really only happens for two reasons:
1. She has a hidden agengda.  If there is an ulterior motive such as she needs help with her midterm and your the smartest guy she doesnt socialize with, can be a valid reason for her to throw the goodies at you. There can be countless reasons for her to justify sleeping with you but at the end of the day, who gives a damn if she wants to give it up to you...BRO BANG HER

IF SHE IS HIDEOUS:

There comes a time in every mans life where some not so looking girl, chubster, loud mouth, rude, and or obnoxious woman puts her eye on him, and at that point and time he has a decision to make. Wether to turn and run screaming for the hills, or to do what ive been saying for 2 paragraphs....BANG HER BRO!!!!  Every man in his life has knocked down a chubster, or Mrs uggg.

In the end if a woman wants to have sex with you...DONT EMAIL ME AND ASK WHAT YOU SHOULD DO...BANG HER!!!!

Top 5 things your girl wants you to do in bed

5. Give her an orgasm before actual intercourse

Ok, just breathe bro its not like she asking you to learn Russian in a day, which actually might be easier right? From my experience the forplay can be pretty intense if done right. A nibble here a bite there and full oral sometimes fellas can have her shaking like she stuck her finger in an electrical socket.

4. lasting longer in bed.

You shouldnt have to have this convo with another man but its a real conversation we need to have buddy.  Hundred of thousands of guys suffer from this so i hear, but all i can give you is what works for me. While having sex all of us men get over excited, especially if its a woman you have Ben chasing Down for about a year and she's FINALLY giving it up to you. It can be a bit overwhelming and sometime the show is over be for the main event even starts. My tip: take your time. Dont get in it and lose your damn mind stay calm relax and stroke like you've gotten some before. I mean you have gotten some before right?

3. TEASING HER UNTIL SHE BEGS FOR IT

if you are an Avid reader of www.risquecurves.com then you know i am all about men being alpha males.  Sadly what i've noticed is that even the most dominant of males quiver, and cower once a woman is in their bedroom. Fellas when you dominate you dominate completely from the "roota to the toota" as my grandfather would say. Take control. Toss her around a little talk dirty a little women love pure beast mode when its appropriate.

2. More oral sex

Ok, so its 2012 right and i still here guys in bars and at gatherings say, "hell no i dont go Down on my woman"  dude....foreal?  This to me is a fatal flaw. I myself love receiving, so inorder to get brothers you got to give. Because if you dont you can expect a bj like you expect a birthday gift once a year.

1. Learn how to give her an orgasm

surprised? Hope not. This is my number one as im sure it is All womens number one thing they want you to do in bed. As a man my ego use to get in the way I literally lived by the code "you better get yours before i get mine." And with the Friday night street rat I really didnt care, but it wasnt until i met and dated an older woman that i wanted to know the intricate details of a womans body and what made her shiver. Upon this research I learned that when a woman is satisfied "NO" isnt even in their vocabulary. I even had this woman do this thing with grape jelly and....oh sorry almost had a flash back.... The point is learn your womans body.take time make it fun i garuntee you wont be disappointed. Have I told you wrong thus Far....exactly. Oh and for all you lazy selfish ass holes who want the for dummies guide to giving her an orgasm check out..

Kisha's Love & Hip Hop Atlanta Recap

Love and Hip Hop Atlanta is my guilty pleasure as you all know. I love Monday evenings so I can watch this and then talk junk to my friends who also watch the show.

Many complain this show is no good but those same people tune in weekly to complain. I tune in to be entertained and without a doubt the cast doesn't disappoint.

Scrappy- He wants his cake and eat it too but doesn't wanna pay child support. As a mother that's just WACK!!!

Shay- Young and having fun but she's gonna end up with her feelings hurt cause if he cheated with you, he will cheat on you.#PointBlankPeriod

KMichelle- I like that even though it might cause drama she is still bring a friend to Erica and letting her know the real deal.

Erica- I'm proud of her! She knows what it is and she's going to be ok but it's a shame Scrappy can't realize what a gem he has with her. #DontKnowAGoodThingTillItsGone

Rasheeda- Firing Kurt as a manager is the best thing she can do for her career AND marriage.

Karlie- I'm not sure if she's being real with Benzino or just looking to get on but time isn't on her side and she's looking old so she might just want to marry Benzino and enjoy the spotlight as his wife. #YeahISaidIt

Benzino- As long as he's been in the entertainment industry he should be able to spot a gold digger a mile away but I guess Karlie has put it on him! Lol

Joseline- I see she is trying to reclaim the independence that Stevie has taken from her but she just needs to chill and get a record out first BEFORE talkin shit!

Stevie J- SMDH!!! He is a mess and all I am going to say about him is that Karma is a bitch and payback is a mutha!

Mimi- Is hurt but at the same time she just wants Stevie to be a man and do right by his family but he can't because of his insatiable appetite for p****! I will admit it was funny watching the three of them in counseling especially when Mimi dropped the bomb to Joseline she was living with Stevie and Joseline went 0-100 in five seconds and went HAM on Stevie's head and anything else she could grab and or punch. The look on Mimi's face as she watched was hee-larry-us!!

I couldn't make this stuff up if I tried...lol

That's all folks...Smooches

10 Warning Signs of Infidelity by “America’s Marriage Coach” Jacqueline Del Rosario,

10 Warning Signs of Infidelity
by Jacqueline Del Rosario

Although most people never plan on cheating, relationships can be fraught with unforeseen temptations that can lead a mate astray.  Signs of relationship infidelity come in many forms – some obvious, others more subtle.

“Even before physical cheating comes emotional cheating—the sharing and divulging intimate details of our lives with someone other than our spouse,” notes “America’s Marriage Coach” Jacqueline Del Rosario (www.doctordelrosario.com).  “Such emotional cheating often serves as the gateway to physical infidelity; once you begin to share how you feel, your dreams and inspirations with another person, it is only a matter of time before that ends in the bed. You are creating a bond with that person on an emotional level, and that emotional tie all too often escalates into an inappropriate physical connection.”

Here, Dr. Del Rosario offers 10 classic warning signs that your partner may, in fact, be cheating emotionally, physically or both:

1.       Sudden changes in schedule or chronically cancelling plans.  For example, you and your mate routinely have dinner every Thursday night at your favorite restaurant, but lately your partner has been cancelling and coming up with a number of different excuses.

Requisite Love

Love is truly a delight. All you have to do is allow it to be that way. The natural order of positive emotions dictates that love is no different than endless bliss - perfection . . . an ideal has been met. When in love we feel and exhibit the endless possibilities associated with true happiness, supreme confidence and powerful support. We feel we can accomplish any and all things with only our true love at our side. If that one true love is not there due to the love you feel being unrequited or lost, just the

A Few Tips on Love & Relationships

By Destinee Love
Love and relationships fade with time no matter who you might be. To stop this from happening, you both need to take the initiative and rekindle the flame. If you don't, you might hit a dead-end in the relationship.  Here are some necessary tips that you should take into account to keep your relationships alive and the love flowing.

Take some quality time out to spend with the one you love. Sometimes we get so caught up in this busy world that we forget about our relationship. A relationship is built out of communication, love, and time. So make time for your relationship and ensure that you or they don’t get bored with it. Share what’s going on in your life at the moment. Always tell them about your ups and downs. Let them comfort you and you comfort them.

Show them that you care! Surprise them with a home cooked meal or take them out to one of their favorite restaurants. You can also take them out on a unexpected date! The unexpected can be very satisfying and so fun. So don't be afraid to do something new and exciting. Just make sure your partner will like it as much as you do.

Always show an interest in your partner’s life. When you ask them how was their day, make sure you listen attentively! They should not only be a partner but a best friend. You should always be able to tell each other your problems and goals. Always be interested in what they have to say and they will always communicate with you freely, which is my next tip of advice.  If you don't like something your partner has said or done tell them. Communication is crucial when it comes to relationship. The better communication you have the more open your relationship will be. You should never have to worry about telling your partner anything!

Never humiliate or ridicule your partner. The last thing you want to do is bring something up from the past or humiliate them. Your partner should be the person that you trust, care for, and above all love. Humiliating and ridiculing is just a big NO.   Remember, men and women think very differently and you need to take this into account. Men tend to use their minds while women will use their feelings. Use this to your advantage to make your partner happier. Always try to see in different perspectives and eventually you will be able to understand your partner better.

Lastly, find a proper balance between independent and dependence. You don't want to be too "clingy". Your partner will feel irritated and trap and eventually leave you. However you don't want to act too "cool" as to drive your partner away because they feel they can't connect with you. Try to never overdo something or under-do. This is something that you will have to learn with observation alone. Eventually you will figure it all out and find your balance; remember to keep it.
Much Love, and Remember to “Keep It Sexi!”

Book Review: "I Didn't Work This Hard Just To Get Married"

By Nika C. Beamon, forward by Dr. Bella DePaulo

People are single for a reason. The causes and reasons are as unique as the single person in question. However, people are bombarded with statistics quite frequently, but rarely with reasons and causes – especially when concerning single, successful, black women; or the reasons given are based on a few select women and given as a generalized overview.

In the book I Didn’t Work This Hard Just To Get Married: Successful Single Black Women Speak Out, author Nika C. Beamon goes beyond the numbers and gets answers from black women about why they are single. The women featured in this book include actress and comedienne Kim Coles and movie producer Effie T. Brown. Though their stories are different, there is one similarity in the attitudes of each woman: they are happily single.

That’s a powerful statement: to be happily single. That idea of being secure as a single, successful, independent black woman is reiterated throughout the book by the different women; sometimes in the same language, often in different words. It shows a multitude of paths on the journey of self-awareness and happiness.

The women are diverse in opinion and experience. There are single mothers, divorcees, and never-married childless women that share their stories of how they became happily single. Some of the women are religious, while others are less so or have non-traditional views on being a woman, sex, and relationships. All of the women are breaking down barriers in their careers, and are doing so while breaking through stereotypes and societal beliefs concerning single women.

The women in the book claim not to be bitter or fall into the “angry black woman” stereotype. However, the beginning couple of sections featured woman that seem to harp on the idea that there aren’t any good black men worth dating – an opinion that Beamon is ready to supply statistics to support. It could be that the women were simply relating experiences from past relationships, but there is a hint that some might have – or are close to – given up on black men in general.

True, men do have to share some of the burden of why women who want to eventually marry (the right guy) are left unmarried. Many men aren’t marriage material, or they don’t want to marry. This book isn’t about men, though; it’s about women taking shape and control of their relationship status without feeling the need to be tied to a man. It’s about women taking responsibility for their lives – and the lives of their children.

Most of the childless women in the book express a desire to become mothers, with or without a man. At first, it might appear that the need to procreate or sow wild oats isn’t unique to the male species; but some of the ladies do point out that if they are unable to find a suitable father for the child, they would not be opposed to adoption. For many of the women, the attitude is: biological clock be damned; the maternal instinct won’t wait for the right man.

This book is good for women who are happily single and need to know that there are others like her; or women who aren’t happily single or in a bad relationship and want to get to the place of self-reliance and self-esteem the women in the book have reached. Men will also find this book useful, because they are able to get insight into the mind of successful black women without having to ask many of the tough questions themselves.

However, men should ask their potential mate the questions anyways. If this book shows the reader anything, it’s that every woman’s reason for being single and attitude towards singlehood is different from the next woman.

What to Do When His Ex is Back...

Cruella De Vil.

The Wicked Witch of the West.

That crazy lady who boiled the bunny rabbit in "Fatal
Attraction."

Of all the female villains out there, there is none who
strikes fear in the hearts of all women quite like HER.

She is deceptive...

Conniving...

Trifling...

and more importantly, you know she doesn't love him, but she knows he has feelings for her and she's not above using that to string him along just because she can.

And she will let NOTHING stop her from getting what she wants.

She is... his EX GIRLFRIEND!

Whether she's responsible for breaking your boyfriend's heart
in the past, saddling him with enough emotional baggage to
fill your walk-in closet...or she's strung him along for so long, that it seems your man is brainwashed

Or - worse - SHE WANTS YOUR MAN BACK...

The Ex-Girlfriend, when not properly exorcised from your
boyfriend's life, can cause ALL kinds of problems.

So what can you DO to protect your relationship from
the Ex-Girlfriend?

The answer is simple: Nothing.

Well, nothing more than to be the best GIRLFRIEND you can be.
The truth is: begging, pleading, yelling, gossiping, bad-mouthing, crying, nagging and - every man's favorite -
issuing ultimatums - will do nothing but push your man away from you...Possibly into the arms of THE EX.
In my response, I explain why taking the high road can work to
everyone's advantage.
I once went through a very similar situation myself! Years ago, when my ex (we'll call him Brandon) and I
first met, he was coming off a nasty breakup with a woman who ripped his heart out and stomped on it. Still, we started dating and had an amazing 3 months, and all seemed to be going great.
Then one day, "Cruella the Ex" ran into a friend of Brandon's. The friend told the Ex ALL about this "amazing new girl"
that Brandon was dating and how happy he was. I'm sure you can guess what happened... the Evil Ex
got JEALOUS and decided that SHE wanted Brandon back. She contacted him and told him how much she'd missed him, she wanted to work things out, blah, blah, blah...
And that's when Brandon started to get CONFUSED. And I could feel him starting to PULL AWAY. At that point, I had three choices:

1) I could freak out on him, beg him to stay with me and
not see the ex.

2) I could tell him, "Hey, if you don't know how you feel
about me by now, well, then, forget it. Go back to your
ex for all I care. I'm done."
or
3) Give Brandon the space he needed to figure things out.

Now I opted for #3, but here's the important point...
I DID NOT SIT AROUND WAITING FOR HIM TO MAKE UP HIS MIND.
I simply started dating other people. Mind you, I was already crazy about Brandon and wasn't really "into" any of the other guys I was going out with, but the important thing was that I was putting forth the effort to keep my options open.
Rather than sitting by the phone, waiting for Brandon to call me and tell me he'd made up his mind, I was getting out of the house, having fun, and meeting new people.

While Brandon was deciding how he felt about ME, I was taking that time to decide how I really felt about BRANDON!
It felt empowering to be mature enough to support Brandon's time-out to sort through his feelings. Especially because I refused to wait in the wings, all pathetic-like, just hoping he'd choose me. In fact, he was running the risk of losing me, so he'd better get his act together FAST!
Now there's a happy ending to my story, because all it took was one meeting over coffee with the Ex before Brandon realized that this woman:
A) Hadn't changed
B) Was simply stringing him along (like before)
C) That his "love" for her wasn't love, but that desire for something you didn't have much of and that just made you crazy and hungry for what you thought was so great.
Kinda like Eddie Murphy's statement in "Raw" If you're starving and somebody throws you a cracker, you'll think it's the best cracker you ever had.

After sitting across the table from her in Starbucks, Brandon knew for sure that the feelings he had for ME after 3 months were far more powerful than what he'd felt for The Ex he'd spent a year with. At that point, he could look her
straight in the eye and honestly tell her, with no second-guessing,"I'm sorry, but I've moved on and found someone else."

That day Brandon called me and asked me if we could get together to talk. He was so excited to tell me that he had finally closed that chapter in his past and now was fully committed to creating a future with me.
I still remember his exact words: he said, "When I walked out of that coffee shop and turned the corner to walk away from her, I felt like I was literally turning a corner in my life. I know what I want, and I want to have it with you."

And the rest, as they say, is history.

Now I can't say for sure how things will work out for you and your boyfriend, but here's what I hope you'll take away from my story:
If you really care about this man and are not ready to give upon him just yet, give him whatever time and space he needs to figure out what he wants. BUT, in the meantime, be sure to take that time and space to figure out what YOU need.
If things are meant to work out, they will.
And if not, well, you didn't waste any of your precious time waiting for him. And who knows... you may end up meeting the person who you REALLY were meant to be with instead.

Good luck to you all.

Seven 'Scary Brother' Tactics You Need to Look Out For

By Alicia Cruz
Theblackurbantimes

All of us have dated a man whose "representative" (i.e. his alter ego) gave such an Emmy Award winning presentation at the beginning of your relationship that you fell for him hook, line and sinker. Despite those nagging jabs your gut kept giving you about him, you decided to give him a chance and forged ahead with a relationship. Sure, he was a little weird, maybe too quiet, and he wasn't exactly your type, but he seemed harmless enough and besides, he acted like he really liked you and he was "so nice."

Recently, though, he's gone from weird and annoying to downright creepy and he's beginning to display some unstable traits that leave you scratching your head, wanting to hire a bodyguard or pay for his mental health evaluation.
There are some things you can work out and pray over, but if he's a man displaying the seven traits I describe below, there's only one thing you can do:
Run or get in your car and just drive until you run out of gas!

Here are seven "scary brother" traits that should have you running for the hills...Full article

Secrets You Can't Afford To Ignore!

No matter who you're dating, if they're human, they just might have a few secrets in their past. Everyone is somewhat guarded about what they disclose to the new man or woman in their life until they're comfortable or feel like they have bonded with you and that's OK, so long as they're simply guarded and not secretive or evasive.

Some of us have secrets; some of us have a few skeletons, but (as Eddie Murphy once said) some of us have cemetaries in our closets and that's just not cool. There are secrets and then there are secrets. All of us have a few things we would rather leave between ourselves and God. But there are some things we must tell a new mate especially if we've become serious or plan to become serious. Any information or facts about ourselves that could do serious harm to a mate, new relationship or put others safety or emotional well-being in jeopardy MUST BE DISCLOSED.
If you choose to lie about or hide important issues, don't blame anyone but yourself when the truth rears it's head (it always does) and things go sour.
Below are a few things that belong on the MUST TELL list:
HE/SHE IS ADDICTED TO DRUGS: PERSCRIPTION AND/OR STREET NARCOTICS - Some people say, "If it's green, don't be so mean. Take flight if it's white. And if they need a syringe, spoon, lighter, pipe or that thing to tie around their arm to make their vein pop out, RUN like a track star and tell them to get help or an audition for HBO's The Wire.

HE/SHE HAS A GAMBLING PROBLEM - Stay but only if they want to get help and make a concerted effort to get it. No, not a month from now, but straight away! Run if they are the type that nickels-and-dimes you to death (i.e. "I gave you two-dollars and it only cost $1.45...where's my change?") or they have asked to borrow an extremely large amount of money and are secretive about what it is for or their reason makes no real sense and they have no proof.

HE HAS A CHILD OR CHILDREN HE NEVER TOLD YOU ABOUT - Stay or walk depending upon their reason for not disclosing the presence of their lovely off-spring. Who knows? The kid could be an undercover mole for the CIA and they were only trying to protect their identity.

HE/SHE HAS HERPES/TREATED FOR SYPHILLIS AND NEVER BROUGHT IT UP
Walk! Especially if you asked or offered to get tested and they flat out lied or claimed they had nothing. This type of non-disclosure is unacceptable and should have been brought up long before any intimacy took place. If they won't tell you about one incurable STD, what other info would they fail to disclose that could bring you a lifetime sentence or maybe death? Lies like this or hiding things like this are true testaments of one's character. Heed the warning because when someone will expose you to deadly or incurable STD's, they're speaking volumes as to what they are truly about deep down inside.
Secondly, if you bring up the subject of STD's and they act non-chalant, don't even blink about the seriousness of the issue, be leery this could mean:
A. They already have something
B. They're too emotionally bankrupt to care

HE/SHE IS STILL INVOLVED WITH AN EX - Stay or walk depending upon the extent of their involvement with the ex. Obviously I don't mean the mother or father of their child(ren), but if they're still intimate or acting like they're dating, it time for you to step.If an ex is calling your new mate more than you are, there's a red flag to wonder about. If they're sneaking around in any way, run don't walk away. This is behavior that will not change. If they haven't deleted a profile from a singles website and you learn they're still taking emails from it, walk!
If they're initiating contact with others, buying or accepting gifts or money, make like Flo-Jo and leave them in your dust! If he's telling you that she's "just a friend" and she's actually a "friend with benefits" or "I love her as a person, but I'm not in love with her" RUN. This is drama waiting to happen.

HE/SHE IS ADDICTED TO PORN - If it's child porn (most definitely) or anything involving necrophilia, rape or S&M games you better run like Hell or just drive till you run the Hell out of gas. But not before checking your computer (if you let them use it) for evidence they were surfing sites. And if they were around your children/grandchildren ask questions, but either way, run. In the grand scheme of things, if it's just good old fashioned porn, make sure he's not addicted and doesn't spend hours surfing sites and masturbating -- especially if you're right in the next room!

HE/SHE HAS BEEN IN PRISON OR JAIL FOR ASSUALT OR DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
As we know, in this day and age, some people use domestic violence as a whip to either pay someone back, gain leverage or just to be an outright jerk.
This is not always the case, so that's why you have to ask questions in relation to their arrest or incarceration.Stay or walk depending on who they assaulted and why:

- If they gave the boss a beat down after being terminated from the company that they worked for after ten years, and they let him/her go on their day off or at the end of a busy day, after the company became successful on his/her handwork and ideas and he/she was dedicated to the company - stay. Sounds like it was just a little temporary insanity.
- If he assaulted a guy at the club for stepping on his new doc martins and gave him a black eye, knocked out his teeth, or put him in a coma - RUN!

- If she stabbed an ex for leaving her, you might want to walk unless he was in the midst of attacking or raping her or she found out he was molesting one of the kids.

- If she dated him less than three months and you learn they were actually sex buddies and she caught feelings then flipped and decided to stab him upon confrontation - RUN!

- If he/she "met" someone over the internet and became nuts after they were rejected and began stalking them (cyber or physical) for any reason you MUST RUN!
Anyone that becomes so enthralled over an internet persona that they have NEVER MET or had ANY RELATIONSHIP with is either borderline personality, certifiably crazy or dealing with some serious emotional deficiencies that will only increase in severity later on.

- If he/she assaulted a cop over a traffic citation, walk. Everybody knows that when you hit a man or woman in uniform, who has a gun and the authority to lock you up you're asking for a beat down in addition to a jail stay, walk because he/she might be a little off their rocker.

- If he assaulted a woman, walk. I don't mean he held her to physically restrain her after she went berserk on him. I mean he beat her, put her in coma, gave her a concussion, black eye or worst. I know some of us women act like we're men and many times we will haul off and clock a man, but he should never hit us. Yes, I know that many of us know some women that deserve their butts whipped, but a man should never hit you. He should get his SISTER or AUNT to do it. Just Kidding

HE/SHE HAS BEEN UNEMPLOYED SEVERAL TIMES OR FOR TOO LONG
In today's economy, it's easy to be laid off or lose your job due to down-sizing, but someone that shows very little effort in making headway to finding work needs to be let go. If they're leaving a-- creases on the couch from sitting or laying around all day, you might want to re-think having a relationship with them.

HE/SHE OBSESSES OVER AN EX OR SEVERAL EXES
You'll know the signs when you hear or see them. Enough said.

HE/SHE NEGLECTS OR ABUSES THEIR CHILDREN
If you meet a woman who dresses sharp, drives a nice car and seems to always have money for her nails and hair, but her children look like they have a mouth full of dice instead of teeth...run! If she neglects or abuses her children just imagine what she's going to do to you.
If he's driving a nice car, has money, the latest fashions along with jewelry yet his children look like survivors of a refugee camp, you really need to WALK! And if his children look bad or have atrocious manners and they're living with their mother and he sees this yet he hasn't made an attempt to obtain sole or at least domicile custody of the poor babies, that should tell you a lot about him!!If she leaves her children alone for long periods of time and they're not exactly old enough to be caring for smaller children, it's a sign that there are some issues.

CYBER OR PHYSICAL STALKER - If he/she has cyber stalked or physically stalked ANYONE for ANY reason other than molesting their child, murdering a loved one or they aren't a licensed private investigator. RUN! This person has serious issues.

HE/SHE LIED ABOUT THEIR NAME, AGE, JOB OR RELATIONSHIP STATUS
With an M.O. like this, they're hiding from more than you can imagine. Run! You don't want to be sitting on your couch one night and see your front door being kicked in by the local SWAT team with the crew from COPS or America's Most Wanted following behind them.

HE/SHE IS A DRUG DEALER OR HANGS AROUND THEM
Run! You are endangering yourself and any children you may have each time you step out with or open your front door for them. They might have all the bling and money, but you put yourself at risk for violence or even death.People like this will have rival gang members or drug consortiums pulling up next to your car pumping bullets in your throat or make you the victim of a home invasion. And worse case scenario (but very real), guilt by association for us minorities can earn you a federal mandatory sentence from anywhere to 10 to 15 years just for associating with them! It's not worth it.

HE/SHE IS MARRIED, "SEPARATED" OR OTHERWISE INVOLVED
I shouldn't have to go into detail with this one, but I will.
MARRIED: A married man/woman is already in a committed, full-time relationship so all you would be getting are the left-overs of their time. And anyone that will cheat with you (for ANY reason), will cheat ON YOU.
"SEPARATED": I placed that in quotation because oftentimes when people say they are separated they're not legally separated. For some of them, separated means they haven't seen their mate since breakfast or he/she is away on business or (for military personnel) they're deployed. They will be "separated" for however long their mate is away or unconscious or unaware or until you give it up (sex or goods). Then suddenly, Mr./Miss Wonderful and Mysterious will begin making like a magician and pulling disappearing acts. Beware!
INVOLVED: Some people will be dating but are still looking to meet others. They usually display the same characteristic traits as Mr./Miss Wonderful and Mysterious. Beware! And again, if he/she is involved with someone when you meet them but they're down to spend time with you or they're sneaking around to be with you, one day they'll do the same thing to you! Women are just as capable of doing this as men.

HE IS ON THE DOWN LOW
And he did NOT tell you this PRIOR to becoming intimate or forming a relationship. Any man that will endanger your health is not worth any of your time!

SHE IS BI-SEXUAL OR LESBIAN
And she did NOT tell you PRIOR to forming a relationship and becoming intimate. And if she was passing off her "best friend" or BFF as a platonic friend (this goes for men too) and you learn they were actually lovers, you need to walk. This type of trickery/dishonesty will NOT change. Imagine what else they have surreptitiously passed off on you

Talking Crazy To The One You Love/Date

Eric Payne says that some women can cause them more pain with a razor sharp tongue and vile words than she can with a two-ton brick. Some of us could win Olympic medals for being Gold Medalists in the verbal abuse field and it's ruining our relationships likely both intimate and personal.
True or False?

TRUE

Times are tough on all of us but we have to find a better way to vent anger and argue constructively. I know this isn't a perfect world and we all are guilty of getting caught up in the moment, but we have to find a better way of expressing anger.

And yes, you can express your point in a serious matter without being vile or malicious.
Talk to him, especially when you're angry and hurt, as if you want him to come back the next day. Because tomorrow is another day and when we take a breather, things just might seem much different. That way you have preserved your love and one another's feelings and caution like that never breeds contempt or resentment. Uttering emasculating, demeaning words be it during the heat of a moment or just because you can is the number one killer of any realtionship, says Eric Payne... and he's right. Eric Payne is wise man who speaks a lot of truth. It might sting once in awhile (especially when he hits the nail on the head), but it's truth.

Tricking On A Man

Posted By: Nichelle Walker for the theblackurbantimes.com

"Me tricking on a man, not likely"- Nichelle Walker
"It ain’t tricking if you go it"--rappers all around the world..
Well I am very fickle when it comes to tricking on a man. I’ma be real—I’m very old fashion and I believe a woman should not take care of a man.
The bible says “If a man shall not work he shall not eat” Amen to that because I couldn’t agree more with the Lord.
It’s a fine line that is hard not to cross with tricking, sometimes you don’t even see it coming and bam you’re getting used. And to keep it real men use women way more than women use men. Prime example, you think this dude is your main boo, ya’ll kicking it hard. You kicking him down with ends when he asks for money and than you find out he got a wife and kid. No Maim not going to do it. Men can be gold diggers too, just like women and really there better at it! They will get into your head, hit you with some boss peen and pimp you out of your paycheck before you know it. Men have a way of making you feel like there down for you, they get into your ear and whisper let me hold this down—f-- that! If you want to know how to loose a guy in five minutes—just let that ninja asked me for some money--if he ask me for a loan I’m gone.
Even now after being with the same dude since I was 16 I’m 28 now I will only loan him money and he has to pay it back. I don’t take kindly of taken care of a man or giving him my hard earned dollars. You got to pay the cost to be the boss—I don’t see nothing wrong with gifts and meals every now and than but me shelling over ends is out the question.
If a man wants to be the head of the relationship than he got to pay the cost to be the boss—and I’m not saying buying gifts is what he has to do. But taking care of home, yes and I won’t see it any other way. If you get with a chick that like gifts than you know that before you get in to deep with them. My problem is as a woman you have to be careful about tricking on a man.. Make sure he is right and yes I feel you should spend some money on him from time to time. And if your man falls off because we all fall down—you should be there to pick him back up. But your eyes have to be wide open to make sure he’s not trying to get what he can from you. It’s all kinds of ways to pick a man back up and help him get on his feet, like helping him find a job-hooking him up with somebody you know is hiring. If he’s getting unemployment you can stay on top of him to file his claims, things like that. Just be careful because I know a lot of women who have been used by ninja’s pimping---but one thing for sure they won’t get me…

The Battle of The Sexes

Written By, Nichelle Walker theblackurbantimes staff writer

"Anything you can do I can do better, I can do anything better than you."

Have you every said this to your spouse? Have you ever thought it in your head or mumbled it
under you breath?

I will admit I have said those lines before out of anger, being upset at some of the things that where going on--so I said it and at the time I meant it. But after I cooled myself off and calmed down, I went back to my regular self and started thinking reasonably-however I can see why you would utter those words to your spouse.

My friends call me old fashion and say I women bash, they tell me all the time--why do you think men can do whatever and women can’t? And it’s not that I don’t think women can do whatever men do, we can! However, we have way more to loose—but my friends disagree with me (not all). So after my post about Black Women staying ringless it made me think. Is this a factor in why were single because we think and act like men? Is it that we are taking over all the roles that men once had? I know I touched on coming from a broken home and that plays a role for men and women. But I’m talking about women saying “well the nigga’s do it, so I’m going to do it.” Do men like women like this?

I think a lot of women now say fuck it, I don’t care anymore. They have the attitudes that some of my friends have--they feel that men and women can do the same things. They feel like there going to do them and live by the above saying.

In my eyes if you both are the same---what’s the use of dating outside of having a smash session? Wouldn’t it be like having a relationship with a person of the same sex? I feel if a man wanted to date a dude than he will have one. (Unless he’s a closet fun boy) If he wanted to be in a relationship with somebody knuckling up like him, talking like him basically acting like him---he would be with a guy. So is this sending some guys packing? Is this one of the reason some guys just hit it and keeping it moving, because there looking for a woman to be soft?

And this goes for us ladies to, you know we don’t want a man doing what we do. Acting like us—the first thing that will come to mind is that he’s gay. You know we want our man to be manly and not switching and talking about what color nail polish he likes---you know. I think and I could be wrong---I have been wrong a few times—but I feel like a guy does not want a girl acting like him. He wants her to be soft and lady like; he does not want her running around telling him she could do the same thing he does.

It’s like your guy saying that to you---you know that’s a lie-men could never do remotely what we do. And no matter how many times we stomp our feet—we can never be like a men-God made us different for a reason. We have to balance one another—even when you have a gay couple you have one person being manly and the other is being soft. It’s just the way it is, relationships have to balance in order to work and if both of you are the same it’s not going to work.

Side Note: (I think this battle of the sexes crap; has ruined what companionship should be about. It has now made us compete with each other instead of holding one another down. It has made us look down and try to be little one another instead of building each other up. It has torn our families and community down until the point where everything is divided. Everything is now about who has more, who is winning and who can make the most money. Women and men look down on those who are beneath them instead of helping--its crazy to me. I just think about Good Times and the episode when Florida wanted to go to school and her husband disagreed at first. It was a family unit in those days so she said fine James if you don’t want me to I won’t. Than after he thought about it, he went out and brought her a book bag and took his check and paid for her classes and surprised her. He thought about all the sacrifices that she’d made for him and her family and he just wanted her to be happy. My thing about that episode was she made him feel like a man she didn’t put him down or tell him about telling her what to do. She just said okay babe and made him see that she was willing to work with him. I think somewhere along the line we have lost that spirit the women have, and the men have forgotten that it’s not always about having control it’s about doing what’s best for your family. And I guess it goes back to not having an example of that growing up--but I’m just saying how I feel)

What are your thoughts and if you disagree tell me. Can men and women do the same things? What’s your take on it lets keep it real…
