Kisha's Love & Hip Hop Recap
#RatchetRealityTV
So since Joe passed this drug test Tahiry has to make him dinner which she does and she reveals she has written a song about him called "Devil" and she wants him to hear. She is letting her guard down and with his track record she is going to end up hurt and even though her friends Rashidah and Winter have warned her, you can't tell her nothin'.
Rich is turned out by Erica because that broad is out of pocket ALWAYS!!! He needs to prioritize ASAP!!!
Erica is a joke but why the crocodile tears for Yandy?!?! You big and you bad why you need Yandy to cosign you?!?!
Erica's singing wasn't as bad as I imagined it was going to be but yeah it's going to take a LOT of mixing and auto-tune but at least she didn't sound like a wounded cow but she damn sure DIDN'T sound like Mariah either hell she DIDN'T sound like Amerie or Ashanti either but..,
Yandy was wrong to go house hunting in Jersey WITHOUT consulting with her man, Mandeecees but after thinking about it and consulting with her pud Kimbella who by the way looks FAB! Team #SnapBack is definitely in full effect.
She realized she needed to behave like someone in a relationship with her man and not her mom. Cool brownie points for making her boo a sexy video as a birthday gift.
Raqi has a rep for being an industry ho but Jen clearly was going to overlook that to attempt to co host a radio show with her but once on the radio with her Jen quickly reconsiders her choice, because Raqi begins to flirt with the rapper they are interviewing and this clearly is making Jen very uncomfortable. A few days later the ladies sit down to discuss what happened and it turned into a screaming much with tossed insults.
Raqi was really feeling herself cause she felt she had the upper hand thinking she could beat Jen so she was loud and disrespectful but mind you last week her scared ass left the restaurant when Tahiry was talking shit to her. Her ass wasn't that vocal then so don't act tough now cause Jen's a white girl. And bottom line she has a rep for being an industry ho and she showed that side flirting with that C-list celeb rapper.# AintNobodyGotTimeForThat
One thing I do notice is that Raqi is a BIG flirt and clearly if these men have women she doesn't care in fact she uses it against them in the long run and thinks it cool to throw it in people's face their men have tried to talk to her in the past.
My advice would be that if you don't want to be referred to as the industry hoe, one would need to stop acting like one! #StepsOffMySoapBox
Next week's preview looks VERY good and definitely filled with drama and action and without a doubt ratchet.

Kisha's Love & Hip Hop Recap
#RatchetRealityTV
Raqi is hurt because she loves Joe and he is kinda doing her dirty because he wants his cake and eat it too (Raqi,Kaylin & Tahiry) and he needs to come clean and real with everyone and leave those drugs alone.
Tahiry is in a rough place because how do you walk away from a man you spent so many years loving and even though you are broken up you can't walk away now because he's having problems with his addiction. It's hard and even more so when you have his mother, Faye asking for help too.
Rashidah needs a new hair color. It's not having the same effect that it did when Rihanna did it. #GetYourLifeBoo
Olivia is talented and I understand she's not feeling Erica but ummm she's buggin to act like she's Beyonce or Mariah. Beggars shouldn't be choosy. She needs a record and here's an opportunity from Mr.Ed (Consequence) but her pride won't let her.
Erica is a loose cannon and she's VERY unprofessional and making a name for herself as the chick not to me around because she's so petty and immature. In her little feeble mind she might view her behavior of someone keeping it real but she will never been anything but a urban model with BIG model.
Jen and Mr.Ed- She annoys me but I do see where he's coming from regarding his faith in Allah.

Kisha's Love & Hip Hop Recap
#RatchetRealityTV
Joe- I saw side of this man I've never seen before. I saw a very vulnerable man. I was impressed that he had kicked his addiction for 14 years but to relapse wasn't a good look but I admired him taking responsibility, well partial because he should have been able to explain that to Raqi. I see that he wants Tahiry back but it's going to take more than a few chit chats. He put her through a lot and he's going to have to prove himself but AFTER he breaks up with his very young and inexperienced girlfriend Kaylin. O_o
Raqi- I think she's in love with Joe and you could tell in her eyes she was VERY hurt by the way he was talking to her but unbeknownst to her at that time he was under the influence of drugs. She needs to focus on herself and stop trying to be Joe's everything especially when he will ultimately break her heart and end up with Tahiry or someone...anyone but her.
Winter-She's best know for being Fab's assistant but now she's on the scene with a scandalous tell all book about her experience in the industry. Who she has been with as well as who others have been with. Hmm ...Sex does sell but more so when it's mixed with a Lil scandal. Get em girl ;-)
Consequence- I don't know who this Mr. Ed ghostwriter is but couldn't his dentist fitted him with a decent pair of teeth that weren't so big? I found it hard to concentrate on what he was saying because all I kept looking at was his choppers. I think his are bigger than Steve Harvey's. #YeahISaidIt
Jen- Consequence's girlfriend and son's mother. She was an entertainment blogger but left the scene for motherhood. She LOVES her man no doubt but Consequence seems to enjoy that she needs him. She gave up her independence and its a choice she soon regrets each time her and her boo argue.
Rich- Is a flirt point blank period! He cares about Erica but he has a wondering eye and if she's secure and won't easily trip they should be fine.
Erica- I don't know who this chick THINKS she is but clearly someone needs to bring her back down to earth. She's acting like she's has the clout of Beyonce/Naomi Campbell but is more on the level of Lil Mama. #YeahISaidItAgain. She should just enjoy the ride of being Rich's boo and enjoy those manis/pedis.
Lore'l- Who? What? Why? Good luck boo!

Rain..Rain..go away..don't come back another day!
Do we live in Seattle now?
By Abba Onyeani
Ceo-The Black Urban Times
For some other reason the last few weeks in the NYC region have been rain, rain and whats the weather going to be today? Rain again. Its tiring to believe that this is truly summer. Maybe this is the start of the "Blade Runner" type of future, with the dreary weather and the gray sky. Anyway..check out what the Nytimes had to say about it..they agree.

Weekend Violence Leaves Two Dead in Bronx
BY Phil Molnar, Jonathan Lemire and Simone Weichselbaum It was a weekend of violence in the Bronx, where cops investigated a stabbing and at least 13 shootings - two of them deadly, police sources said.
The bloody tally left a 25-year-old man and a high school junior dead, police said.
The junior, Juan Acevedo, 19, was hanging out with friends in an apartment two blocks from the new Yankee Stadium early Sunday when he was shot in the chest after a buddy accidentally fumbled a gun, cops and police sources said.
The Theodore Roosevelt High School student had been drinking with friends when someone decided to show off a gun that discharged about 1:30 a.m. inside the E. 164th St. apartment, a police source said.
Paramedics rushed Acevedo to Bronx-Lebanon Hospital, where he died an hour later, police said. "He died in his brother's arms," said his mother, Hilda Acevedo. Her son's killer should face justice, she said. "I hope they catch him."
Three hours later, five men shot and killed an unidentified 25-year-old man on E. 235th St. in Wakefield, police said.
He died at Jacobi Medical Center, police said.
Cops were also hunting for a man who stabbed and critically wounded another man in Tremont.
The victim, whose name was not released, remained in critical condition last night at St. Barnabas Hospital, cops said.
Sunday's slayings capped a violent weekend that also saw at least 11 less serious shootings throughout the borough, police sources said.

Queens minister stole $10M from congregants at Local Christian Assembly Church
BY John Marzulli DAILY NEWS STAFF WRITER
The Lord giveth and the greedy minister of a Queens church taketh away.
In addition to his spiritual duties, the Rev. Isaac Ovid allegedly dispensed private financial services to congregants at the Local Christian Assembly Church in Forest Hills who were fleeced to fund the ordained minister's lavish lifestyle, according to a court papers. Ovid was arrested on Monday by FBI agents in Tampa and is awaiting extradition to Brooklyn, where a federal grand jury is hearing evidence of his scheme.
The complaint alleges that nearly $10 million of investor money collected through investment companies set up by Ovid and other senior members of the church cooperating in the probe was misappropriated or lost between October 2004 and December 2005.
The misspent funds included extravagant office renovations, jewelry, clothing, meals and a $200,000 Bentley luxury auto purchased by Ovid, according to the complaint.
"The car payments, which exceeded $2,500 per month, were also paid with ... investors' funds," said FBI agent Daniel Quinn in the arrest warrant affidavit. Ovid and the other senior church officials, who are not identified in the complaint, allegedly paid more than $1 million in corporate credit card charges with investors' money.
Investors were promised returns of up to 75% with minimal risk, and the victims included church members who were blind, retired or disabled.
Messages left at the church were not immediately returned.

Tiffany Pollard aka New York gets yet another reality show on VH1 - proving that television is not worth watching any more. According to Eur Web, her new show will be called, "New York Goes to Work" which airs May 4th. Apparently she will be doing jobs that fans text in for her to do which include cleaning sewers, being a beautician for dead people, and a fast-food worker. If she does a good job at these positions she gets $5,000 a week. I wonder is she will be a prostitute on the show or is that too much like real life for her?! Shaq, Paul Robeson amongst stars named to N.J. Hall of Fame
Tax woes gone wild; warrant issued for 'Girls Gone Wild' founder
Joe Francis (pictured left) did not immediately respond to a call seeking comment. The hearing was to address his request to hire a new attorney. Francis is accused of claiming more than $20 million in bogus business ex-penses on his corporate tax returns, including $3.8 million for a home in Mexico and $10.4 million in phony consulting services.
Another spoiled starlet strikes again
Lindsay Lohan's frame isn't the only thing that's fading — it seems her star status is too. The 22-year-old caused a ruckus while on a Delta Airlines flight from Tampa on Saturday. Apparantly, Delta was unable to provide her with a first-class seat on the already overbooked flight and the star threw a conniption fit that had passengers doubled over laughing at her. Word has it that Lin Lo stomped around and even warned a friend traveling with her: "You'd better come and visit me back there (in coach) in case I die." Poor thing. Imagine having to suffer through a flight by sitting in coach with mere mortals? And...as starlet tantrums will do, the fit earned Miss Lohan her way and she got to stay in First-class.

Shaq, Paul Robeson amongst stars named to N.J. Hall of FameNew Jersey — New Jersey says Shaq and Bon Jovi are shining stars in the Garden State. Both are amongst 12 others including civil rights activist Paul Robeson who were named to the New Jersey Hall of Fame on Monday. The honor is meant to highlight positive contributions made to the Garden State, a state sadly known for corrupt politicians amongst other uglies. I have to agree, Shaq deserves the honor and Mr. Robeson made quite a few outstanding contributions in his time. And for those of you unfamiliar with the Bronx, Mr. Robeson has a Junior High School named for him: I.S. 183 on Morris Avenue in the Mott Haven section of the South Bronx. I.S. 183 has a stellar coach, Tommy Yahn (aka the Cardinal Hayes Flash and, like myself, a Patterson Projects "alum"),
who coaches both the boys' and girls' basketball teams. This Saturday, Coach Yahn is attempting a double-double where a final four is set to be played for the first time in order to determine New York City champions for grades 6-9. In Saturdays semifinals, the I.S. 183 girls will square off against M.S. 51 of Brooklyn at 1 P.M.; the I.S. 183 boys will take on Junior High School 50 of Brooklyn at 3 P.M. The winners advance to the championship round later in the day. Let's hope they both rally for leads.

US seamen are being trained to fend off pirates
PORTLAND, Maine (AP) — With an alarming number of tankers and cargo ships getting hijacked on the high seas, the nation's maritime academies are offering more training to merchant seamen in how to fend off attacks from pirates armed not with cutlasses and flintlocks but automatic weapons and grenade launchers. Colleges are teaching students to fishtail their vessels at high speed, drive off intruders with high-pressure water hoses and illuminate their decks with floodlights.

Abusive mom sentenced to Life for murder of 2-year-old
GALVESTON, Texas (AP) — A mother was convicted of capital murder Monday for the death of her 2-year-old daughter, who was whipped with belts and flung onto a tile floor to teach her manners, before her body was dumped in a box in Galveston Bay. Jurors deliberated less than two hours before finding Kimberly Trenor guilty. She received an automatic sentence of life without parole. Prosecutors did not seek the death penalty. "Justice has been served today. Today it's about Riley" — the victim, Galveston County District Attorney Kurt Sistrunk said after the verdict.
ADDIS ABABA, Ethiopia – Moammar Gadhafi of Libya was elected Monday as leader of the African Union, a position long sought by the eccentric dictator who wants to push his oil-rich nation into the international mainstream after years of isolation.
Gadhafi, once ostracized by the West for sponsoring terrorism, has been trying to increase both Libya's global stature and its regional influence — mediating African conflicts, sponsoring efforts to spread Islam on the continent and pushing for the creation of a single African government.
Still, some African leaders offered tepid praise for the choice of the strongman who grabbed power in a 1969 coup. Rights groups called him a poor model for Africa at a time when democratic gains are being reversed in countries such as Mauritania and Guinea.
He attended the session dressed in a gold-embroidered green robe and flanked by seven extravagantly dressed men who said they are the "traditional kings of Africa." Gadhafi told about 20 of his fellow heads of state that that he would work to unite the continent into "the United States of Africa."
Gadhafi arrived at the summit Sunday with the seven men, one carrying a 4-foot gold staff, and caused a stir when security officials did not admit them because each delegation gets only four floor passes. All seven "kings" were seated behind Gadhafi when he accepted the chairmanship.
"I think the coming time will be a time of serious work and a time of action and not words," he said.

Although the NYPD has many faces of color in its new class..concerns still persists.
The NYPD. Call them different names at all times. The fact is that they have alot of work to do. The crime rate is down, but has anything truly changed. Someone needs to truly show empathy for the people and lead the charge into a true community effort, of the police and the people.

NY GOV. DAVID PATERSON LOOKING TO TAX THE RICH A LITTLE MORE..
New York State Taxes May Rise for Rich
By DANNY HAKIM
ALBANY — Gov. David A. Paterson rolled out 137 proposed tax and fee increases last week on items including iTunes downloads and soft drinks, but there could very well be another big one to come.
Increasing income taxes on the richest residents of New York is still a last resort, Mr. Paterson said in an interview, but one that may become necessary as a result of the state’s precarious financial condition.
For now, the governor has avoided broad-based income tax increases even as he has proposed $4 billion worth of new or increased taxes and fees to help close a $15.4 billion budget deficit, the largest in state history.
Many groups, though, want even more taxes and fewer budget cuts — to protect their members or programs or interests — and are already broadcasting commercials urging the governor to broadly tax the rich in order to avert some of his steep proposed education and health care cuts. And Mr. Paterson seems to be edging closer to acknowledging that he may have no choice but to do so.
“Taxing the wealthy is probably going to be part of the solution if the deficit gets any worse, and all indications are that it probably will,” Mr. Paterson said during a wide-ranging conversation late last week. “If the deficit starts to grow again, then we’re out of moves. I’ve cut as much as I could.”

Way To Go, NEW YORK!!
352 GUNS RECOVERED IN BUYBACK PROGRAM
NEW YORK - New York City authorities have recovered 352 guns - including a bright pink rifle, two sawed-off shotguns and an AK-47 assault weapon - during a Staten Island buyback program. Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly says it's the most successful program in the city per-capita. People who owned illegal guns could turn them in anonymously at two churches in exchange for $200 bank cards. Church programs in Brooklyn and Manhattan have netted about 1,200 guns total. The Jets Miracle at the Meadowlands

JETS GET MIRACULOUS WIN OVER BILLS
Eleven days before Christmas, Jauron gift-wrapped this one, leaving the Jets in a mix of giddiness and disbelief. Early on it looked like the Jets were going to run right over Buffalo. They took a 14-3 lead in the first quarter, but then began making mistakes. The Bills grabbed a 27-24 lead with 5:30 left in the game Fred Jackson carried half the Jets' defense into the end zone. Ellis had an 11-yard touchdown, giving the Jets a 31-27 home win.
Above photo (NY Post) RB Leon Washington's 47-yard touchdown run :55 seconds before halftime gave the Jets a 21-17 lead at the break.
