Kisha's Love & Hip Hop Recap
#RatchetRealityTV
Erica- I am really confused. When did this bottom bitch win a Grammy, Golden Globe or hell even mentioned on Entertainment Tonight?!?! Why oh why does she think her coochie is made of gold?!? Why is she trying to issue ultimatums?!?! She's a pretty face but I take that back because her attitude has her looking UGLY, a woman especially someone's mother should never conduct themselves like she does.
Olivia- Is in denial that her music career is in the basement. I am assuming she DIDNT get the memo that no one and I repeat no one is checking for her. She might wanna humble herself. I am curious why after being dropped from J Records and GUnit her career has been on pause. I really believe 50 has her blacklisted.
Consequence- I can respect his religious beliefs but truthfully he and Jen should have discussed his way of life BEFORE they had a child because she wants to raise her son as a Christian and he wants to raise him as a Muslim. Jen is too weak to stand up for what she truly believes in so ultimately she and the baby will be converting but on another note, I never can concentrate on anything but his teeth. O_o
Yandy- As a mother we never want to hear that there is anything wrong with our children and NEVER want to have to discuss surgery. Amir needs to have surgery to fix what is wrong with his kidney. Very emotional and passion filled chemistry between Yandy and Mandeecees.
Joe- If he don't take his Molly popping ass to rehab...Smh! I'm really buggin on how this fool passed an at home drug test when his ass just admitted on the last episode he was high on the episode before that.#WhereTheyDoThatAt
I don't know if he concocted this "relapse" nonsense as a way to get Tahiry back. As for Raqi I think their friendship was out of convenience on Joe's behalf whereas she was sincere hence why she's so hurt but tossing insults everyone she sees Tahiry out isn't going to make matters any better.

Rain..Rain..go away..don't come back another day!
Do we live in Seattle now?
By Abba Onyeani
Ceo-The Black Urban Times
For some other reason the last few weeks in the NYC region have been rain, rain and whats the weather going to be today? Rain again. Its tiring to believe that this is truly summer. Maybe this is the start of the "Blade Runner" type of future, with the dreary weather and the gray sky. Anyway..check out what the Nytimes had to say about it..they agree.

Officer Omar Edwards R.I.P. ..Another victim of racial profiling by his fellow brethen NYPD?
Shot like a dog, Omar Edwards deserved better.
By Abba A. Onyeani
Officer Edwards did not have a chance that day he was shot. He is a black man running down the street with his gun drawn. Was he looked at in a certain way..maybe he was looked at the same way that Diallo was looked at or Dorismond? What will the excuse be this time from the NYPD? This is one of your own. What is the excuse that a black man running down the street can be nothing else but a criminal. The NYPD has become the antithesis of "Protect and Serve". Someone please tell the woman and young babies in these photos that the world will change one day.

Car crashes into eatery in NY movie stunt; 2 hurt
NEW YORK — Police say a Ferrari crashed into a restaurant in New York's Times Square during filming of a Nicolas Cage movie stunt, injuring two pedestrians.
Notices posted by police indicated the early Monday shoot was for Cage's film, "The Sorcerer's Apprentice."
Police say the two injured people were brought to a hospital, though their injuries weren't life threatening.
The scene required the luxury sports car to pass several vehicles in pursuit of a Mercedes as it drove down the street, which was closed to traffic during filming.
Witnesses say the Ferrari appeared to take a hard right turn and smashed into the Sbarro restaurant at 47th Street and Seventh Avenue.
The film is scheduled for release next year. See video below.

U2 Got Their Way in NYC
This street does have a name - U2 Way.To celebrate U2's weeklong gig on "Late Show With David Letterman," a blocklong stretch of West 53rd Street was temporarily renamed after the veteran Irish rockers on Tuesday.
"Somewhere south of Duke Ellington Way and north of Joey Ramone Place we find ourselves," said lead singer Bono. "And we're the band where the streets have no name."
The four band members joined Mayor Michael Bloomberg and City Council Speaker Christine Quinn in unveiling the "U2 Way" street sign on Broadway across West 53rd Street from the Ed Sullivan Theater, where Letterman's show is taped.
Scores of fans cheered from behind police barricades as Bloomberg presented each U2 member with his own copy of the sign.
"Edge just said this is the first time he's
been seen with a street sign and not been arrested," quipped Bono, referring to guitarist The Edge.U2 is on "Letterman" all week to promote its new album "No Line on the Horizon."

NY NEWS: Mayor Bloomberg starts the path to re-election
NEW YORK (Reuters) - New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg once dismissed political parties as a "swamp of dysfunction," but now he's trying to woo back party leaders to boost his chances of winning a third term in November.
A longtime Democrat who became a Republican to run for mayor in 2001, Bloomberg backed an unsuccessful 2003 effort to make New York elections nonpartisan. Then he became an independent in 2007 as he weighed running for president.

NY POST SAYS A WEAK "I'M SORRY"
NY Post apologizes — to some — over Obama cartoon
By KAREN MATTHEWS, Associated Press Writer Karen Matthews, Associated Press Writer Fri Feb 20, 4:43 am ET
NEW YORK – After two days of protests, the New York Post apologized Thursday for a cartoon that some have interpreted as comparing President Barack Obama to a violent chimpanzee gunned down by police. But the newspaper also said its longtime antagonists exploited the image for revenge.
The qualified apology didn't mollify at least some of the cartoon's critics, who said they might continue protesting Friday.
The newspaper posted an editorial on its Web site Thursday evening saying the cartoon was meant to mock the federal economic stimulus bill, but "to those who were offended by the image, we apologize."
The piece was posted hours after 200 picketers chanting "Boycott the Post! Shut it down!" marched in front of the paper's office, saying the cartoon echoed racist stereotypes of blacks as monkeys.
The editorial said that "most certainly was not its intent," adding that some media and public figures who have long-standing differences with the paper saw the cartoon "as an opportunity for payback."

NY POST MAKES RACIST CARTOON ABOUT OBAMA'S STIMULUS BILL!!
A cartoon likening the author of the stimulus bill, perhaps President Barack Obama, with a rabid chimpanzee graced the pages of the New York Post on Wednesday.

The drawing, from famed cartoonist Sean Delonas, is rife with violent imagery and racial undertones. In it, two befuddled-looking police officers holding guns look over the dead and bleeding chimpanzee that attacked a woman in Stamford, Connecticut.
"They'll have to find someone else to write the next stimulus bill," reads the caption.

NYC MAN DRAGGED FOR OVER 20 MILES!
Queens Driver Unknowingly Drags a Body Nearly 20 Miles
By AL BAKER
A few minutes after 6 a.m. Wednesday, the driver of a black sport utility vehicle called 911 from his cellphone to report that he had just hit someone on 108th Street in Corona, Queens.
He went back to the spot. But there was no body there.
At 7:05 a.m. in Brighton Beach, Brooklyn, the driver of a red van noticed a pedestrian trying to flag him down, yelling that he was dragging something. He pulled over and made a gruesome find: The body of a man — hooked through his sternum — was affixed to a steel plate that was part of the van’s undercarriage.

Gov. Paterson meets for breakfast with Sec. of State Hilary Clinton and new Ny Senator Kirsten Gillibrand
Two days before she will be sworn in as New York’s junior senator, a smiling Kirsten E. Gillibrand said Sunday that she planned to “hit the ground running.”
“It’s thrilling,” said Ms. Gillibrand, the 42-year-old Congresswoman from the sprawling 20th Congressional district around Albany. “You will see me everywhere in the state. You will see me wherever you want to see me.”
Ms. Gillibrand spoke to reporters after finishing a congratulatory lunch at the Waldorf-Astoria in New York with the newly minted Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, Charles E. Schumer, the state’s senior senator, and New York Governor David A. Paterson, who appointed Ms. Gillibrand on Friday to fill Ms. Clinton’s vacated senate seat.
