Today we lost a really great actor, Michael Clark Duncan died at 54. In July he had a heart attack that he never fully recovered from he was engaged to reality star Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth. He worked as a bodyguard for celebrities like Will Smith, Martin Lawrence, Jamie Foxx, LL Cool J, and Notorious B.I.G. before he got his break.
Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, who starred with Duncan in the movie "The Scorpion King" said on Twitter: "When something happens, we always say it happens for a reason ... Michael Clarke Duncan 12/10/57 - 9/3/12 I'll miss you my brother."
Vivica A. Fox says, "My heart is shocked and saddened!! RIP Micheal Clark Duncan. U were the most gentle giant and the most gracious of a man! U wont b 4gotten! " she tweeted.
And Tom Hanks who played with him in "The Green Mile", also had something to say, "I am terribly saddened at the loss of Big Mike. He was the treasure we all discovered on the set of The Green Mile. He was magic. He was a big love of man and his passing leaves us stunned."
He was in two of my favorite movies The Green Mile and Armageddon. He will be missed.
