Puerto Rican Statehood Still in The Air

Recent calls to press ahead with efforts to make Puerto Rico the newest U.S. state defy the results of the plebiscite on Nov. 6, 2012, when Puerto Rican voters rejected statehood and elected pro-commonwealth candidate Alejandro GarcĂ­a Padilla as their new governor.
