Left Eye was iconic. From burning down Falcons WR Andre Rison's mansion to winning a grammy in TLC, Lisa "left eye" Lopes was a legend in the hip-hop/pop/r and b communities alike. She was latino as well.
This choice is insulting for all of TLC's long time fans. The reason is its Lil'Mama. Nothing against Lil'Mama as an artist, but no one took her seriously..and her age has always been a question mark. There are so many other young actresses that could have played the role.
Its just not cool that young black Hollywood doesn't get a shot at playing the role of a legend. Its also sad that the "stage crasher" Lil'Mama gets to do it without any real talent.
