Six month old, Jonylah Watkins's death..is as much her father's fault as the gang members who shot her

Changing a six month old baby in a car is reckless...period. The choices made that day could have saved baby Jonylah from her tragic death. Yes..there are guns on the streets of Chicago and yes the violence is too great.



The fact remains that Mr. Watkins gang affiliations should be seen as the first problem that caused Jonylah's death. You can't be affilated with a gang and have children. There's no way around that..period.

If you are in a gang or are involved with criminal activities..you don't need to have children. You are killing them before they are born..and this is why baby Jonylah's blood is on the hands of her father as well as the cowardly shooters who pulled the trigger.
