50 Cent loses movie role to Terry Crews
When Curtis Jackson's new album is called HTML Hataz, know that he is talking about you, the internet masses who cried out in pain when it was announced that he would replace Forrest Whitaker in Sylvester Stallone's gimmicky new film The Expendables. The outcry was enough that, just a few days after the announcement, 50 Cent was off the movie and the angelic Terry Crews was in.
Good work, internet. Terry Crews is amazing. His participation in this movie may actually make it watchable. Unlike many of you, I've been fearing The Expendables. For a number of reasons:
- Stallone is self-destructive. Look at his career. He will make one or two good - nay, GREAT! - movies and then follow them up with complete shit. His filmography is like a yo-yo (and no, I'm not taking into account Stallone movies that are 'so bad they're good.' I'm just talking about really, honestly good Stallone movies). Sly has made two really, really good movies in a row. It's time to shit on that streak, and I know he'll do it.

Your Street Cred Has Been Revoked
I Disagree Miss Simmons

Vanessa Simmons was on SOHH.com saying that she doesn't partake of the gossip blogs because we are bitter people. Well for one I want to say that I am a huge fan of Runs House and Vanessa and Angela's Pastry Shoe collection. In fact I feel like I have an affinity with Angela because she reminds me soo much of my oldest daughter. You know the type of daughter with all those hairbrain schemes and always into something? My daughter Kadijah reminds me alot of Angela so I feel like I have some sort of connection. Don't ask why it is, it just is. So I'm a little hurt to hear that Vanessa feels a certain way about gossip sites. :( I try not to tear anyone down unless I have a personal vendetta with that particular person. For the most part I think I'm pretty nice and have never said anything about Vanessa nor have I called her UGLY! Girl you ain't ugly and you don't need me to say that. I'm sure you already know this. I'm just saying give us gossip bloggers a chance. We are not all alike. Trust me!!!! I still gots love for you NESSA.
Check out what Vanessa has to say by clicking on the link below:

Tranny Alert!!! Tranny Alert!!!

Diddy's got a new reality show. I read somewhere (can't remember where) an article that claimed one of the chicks on the show is really a MAN or shall I say a tranny! Well according to my homie Jen The Pen that chick is indeed a MAN and is definitely a TRANNY!!!! I knew something smelled funny round them parts!!! LMAO!! Jen received an insider email with lots of juicy information pertaining to that TRANNY and how he/she was a prostitute at one point in their life. Hmmmm.........this is getting even more interesting! I can't wait until August 4th to watch this show! I knew it was going to give Flavor of Love a run for it's money.......I KNEW IT!!! Here's a peek at that email Jen got from the insider below:
Jen!!,
I worked as a (BLANK) on Diddy's new show for VH1 that's premiering August 4th, called "Work For Diddy." The show centers around the young and dumb vying for a chance to work FOR Puff.
What's unknown to the world right now, is that one of the contestants, actress Laverne COX, is a Tranny (still has a ding ding). Let me tell you that home girl is the FIRST black tranny to be cast on a reality show. The problem is that some people don't or won't even know. For Diddy's part, all I can say is "How you doin'...alright!"
Laverne is pleasant enough and will steal the show in many ways (think Omarosa). Are your readers ready to see a Black Tranny?
OMG!!!!!!! This is going to be good!!! For more on Jen The Pen you can check her out at www.jenthepenbitches.blogspot.com!
Here's the preview to Diddy's new reality show called "Work For Diddy". Peep the tranny at the very beginning with the red on!!! This is who I am talking about. Take a look below:

NYC COUNCILMAN CHARLES BARRON ..PRAISES NYC COPS?!?!
Brooklyn Councilman, Often a Critic, Praises the Police
By JONATHAN P. HICKS
Over the course of his public life, Councilman Charles Barron’s critiques of the New York Police Department have been nothing short of scathing. In fact, Mr. Barron, a Democrat from Brooklyn and a former Black Panther, is perhaps best known for his highly public and unyielding condemnation of the police.
So, understandably, the ears of many a New Yorker perked up when Mr. Barron lavished praise upon New York’s finest over the last couple of days. Specifically, Mr. Barron commended officers for the role they played over the weekend in helping him and a team of negotiators coax a 19-year-old woman who had barricaded herself in her apartment to surrender to the police.
“The police officers did an excellent job,” Mr. Barron said in an interview on Monday. “They handled the situation with real professionalism. This could have been a far more volatile, dangerous situation. But they acted judiciously. It was well handled.”
Why the effusive praise for a police force that has for so long been the target of much of his criticism?
Mr. Barron’s fellow Democratic politicians suggested that it was a reflection of the fact that the councilman is running for Brooklyn borough president next year in what is expected to be a crowded Democratic primary. And, in an effort to gain support outside his political base of East New York, he must make an effort to appear less strident in his statements about the police, the politicians say.

Obama makes news overseas in the Middle East!!
KABUL, Afghanistan (CNN) -- Sen. Barack Obama said Sunday that United States needs to focus on Afghanistan in its battle against terrorism.
"The Afghan government needs to do more. But we have to understand that the situation is precarious and urgent here in Afghanistan. And I believe this has to be our central focus, the central front, on our battle against terrorism," Obama said Sunday on CBS' "Face the Nation."
"I think one of the biggest mistakes we've made strategically after 9/11 was to fail to finish the job here, focus our attention here. We got distracted by Iraq," he said.
Obama said troop levels must increase in Afghanistan.
"For at least a year now, I have called for two additional brigades, perhaps three," he told CBS. "I think it's very important that we unify command more effectively to coordinate our military activities. But military alone is not going to be enough."
Obama met Sunday with Afghan President Hamid Karzai, a leader the Democratic senator has criticized for not doing enough to rebuild the war-torn nation.
The presumptive Democratic presidential nominee met with Karzai in Kabul, the capital city, during Obama's first visit to the Asian nation.
Karzai's spokesman characterized the senator's message as pleasant.
"They're happy to be in Afghanistan. They reassured the support of U.S. people to Afghanistan," Humayoon Hamidzada said.
Karzai met with the congressional delegation that includes Obama, and they discussed the achievements of the Afghan government as well as challenges such as terrorism, corruption and illegal drugs. See a map with photos of Obama's trip »
McCain's senior foreign policy adviser criticized Obama on Sunday for "stubbornly adhering to an unconditional withdrawal that places politics above the advice of our military commanders, the success of our troops and the security of the American people."
"Barack Obama is wrong to advocate withdrawal at any cost just as he was wrong to oppose the surge that has put victory within reach. It is a strategy for defeat, and it is the only strategy Barack Obama has ever supported," Randy Scheunemann said in a statement.
Obama traveled to eastern Afghanistan on Saturday to visit American forces under NATO's Regional Command East, the coalition's Combined Joint Task Force said. Obama is joined by Sen. Charles Hagel, a Republican from Nebraska, and Sen. Jack Reed, a Democrat from Rhode Island.
In a joint statement released Sunday, the three senators expressed confidence that progress would be made in Afghanistan.
"We need a sense of urgency and determination. We need urgency because the threat from the Taliban and al Qaeda is growing and we must act; we need determination because it will take time to prevail. But with the right strategy and the resources to back it up, we will get the job done," they said in the statement.

EXCLUSIVE BLOG POST FROM SKILLZ REGARDING LIL WAYNE MIXTAPE DJ DISS!!

F The DJ? Where would me or you be without the DJ?
“Iiight so fuck the dj? For real? Wow! First lemme say I dont get alot of radio/club play, sometimes my record dont apply & I can understand that but I dont care if I had no spins on my record I would never say fuck a dj. No DJ at all, I wouldnt say fuck a DJ that I dont know!! lol It just baffles me how the hottest artist out right now can say Fuck the dj's!! Where would he be without the DJ tho? Real talk, I hear Wayne records and its always a dj playing it. Be it on the radio, in the club or on a cd. If you hot then DJ's gon fuck with you but they are part of the reason you hot, its a tag team kinda combo. You rap on everyone's song (whether they want you to or not) you jump on cats songs and send em out to the world, wouldn't you want someone to think its hot enuf to play? So then I heard him on Drama and he said " Fuck them dj's"! Niggas takin my music and puttin out CD's that aint official. Nigga? You rapped on 70 songs that wasn't official! Alot of these DJ's are branding you. They making you hot! If a kid grabs a LIL Wayne cd from the barbershop he bought that for some new Wayne shit, If I asked him what CD I got he's gon say Wayne, not DJ (insert name here) presents Wayne! Im sure when DJ's heard Lollipop they was like " man Wayne on some other shit, Ima play this other Wayne joint." But you gave them the option, you rapped on everything. Its crazy how cats do DJ's after they get to the point that they want to get to. No single, I been rapping over everyone else's shit for more than a year , I even book shows and do mixtape songs for over a year and right before my album drops its FUCK THE DJ??!?! You said it aint about the money so why would you care if they make a little change on a mixtape or attempt to keep thier name up by formatting and sequencing some of the music that you put out for FREE?? Some of these cats work at a radio station and clock in for two hours a day if that! They gotta hustle( clubs, weddings, parties, mx cds) just like you for the bread but now its fuck them? I'd go rap at a DJ's daughter's 8th birthday party ( and do drops) to make sure I'm in good standing with him/her, cuz as long as I make records Im always going to need them. Even when he called in to clear the shit up he still didnt really. Wow..yall made him the hottest rapper out and he said fuck yall & then said fuck yall again? See how these cats do you? Yall really need to support the artists that support you. Yall have the power to change this shit. A dj could look me in my face and say he doesnt have 1 Skillz record in his Serato & I wouldnt say fuck him! Im scared of what would happen to my career if I did that. How can you make rap music and say fuck the dj and have a career, thats what I wanna know.”

OBAMA WINS!!!!!! THIS IS HISTORY WE ARE WITNESSING BEFORE OUR EYES!!!
Obama Claims Nomination; First Black to Lead a Major Party Ticket
By JEFF ZELENY
Senator Barack Obama claimed the Democratic presidential nomination on Tuesday night, prevailing through an epic battle with Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton in a primary campaign that inspired millions of voters from every corner of America to demand change in Washington.
A last-minute rush of Democratic superdelegates, as well as split results from the final primaries in Montana and South Dakota, pushed Mr. Obama over the threshold of 2,118 delegates needed to be nominated at the party’s convention in Denver in August. The victory for Mr. Obama, the son of a black Kenyan father and white Kansan mother, broke racial barriers and represented a remarkable rise for a man who just four years ago served in the Illinois State Senate.
“You chose to listen not to your doubts or your fears, but to your greatest hopes and highest aspirations,” Mr. Obama told supporters at a rally in St. Paul. “Tonight, we mark the end of one historic journey with the beginning of another — a journey that will bring a new and better day to America. Because of you, tonight, I can stand before you and say that I will be the Democratic nominee for president of the United States.”
Mrs. Clinton paid tribute to Mr. Obama, but she did not leave the race. “This has been a long campaign and I will be making no decisions tonight," Mrs. Clinton told supporters in New York. She said she would be speaking with party officials about her next move.
In a combative speech, she again presented her case that she was the stronger candidate and argued that she had won the popular vote, a notion disputed by the Obama campaign.

We found out in our latest interview if she's really crazy or not. She's putting it all on the line for a great cause. Check it out!
BLKU :Hi Africa
AFRICA: Hey You?
BLKU: So what's this I hear you are running to Chicago? R u nuts??
AFRICA: LOL NO but some days even I am like...yes I am crazy!
BLKU: How did this come to be?
AFRICA: Well I was already trying to loose weight to draw attention to the fight against AIDS.
BLKU: Yeah I read about that 100 right
AFRICA : RIGHT 1HUND(RED) like the converse red campaign... I've lost 70 pounds since January

BLKU: WOW that's a whole person.
AFRICA : YUP, I gave up drinking, and binge eating and meat... and I work my ass off!Again I copied Oprah cause I do her BEST LIFE DIET, I am not one to tell Oprah what to do but they ought to take the diet out of the title because what they encourage you to do is not diet it's about changing your lifestyle.
BLKU: SO then
AFRICA: Then my car got towed and I had like 1 million dollars in tickets so i started running outside, and my trainer Dave Coffee had been pushing me to do a marathon
BLKU: SO..
AFRICA: SO I was running and it just came to me... one because i noticed a lot of eyeballs on me when I would go jogging... and two because I thought now here's a way to test myself, draw attention to my people and give people ideas on how to help.Plus everything I do, I like to have the what factor which basically is when people go SHE'S GOING TO DO WHAT???? hahaha I love that so much it drives me.
BLKU: WOW just like that.
AFRICA: Yeah just like that and the journey began, I am a huge fan of converse and they came out with an African branded shoe where the money goes to AIDS and I had met them and they sent me a pair so I was like BET! When I stop and talk to people I'll tell them about that. It's a really cool program that is attached to their celebrating their 100 hundred years. People can go to WWW.MAKEMINERED.COM and design their own sneakers..it is brilliant and behind the whole thing are my idols Bobby Shriver - Bono and this amazing woman Tamsin Smith who is the president of RED urging. But credit to Converse for doing it!
BLKU: So are you a spokesperson for the brands now?
AFRICA: HA! No not YET! ... But I am a part of the (RED) community since inception when I copied Oprah and did a shopping spree I spent like 7,000 dollars for stuff for me and friends... you can be in the community too it is as simple as going and buying one of those products the money goes straight to the GLOBAL FUND...which I am urging people to do also. Does product (red) people tell me what to DO NO!!!!!!!!! we all know I am independent have they been supportive absolutely, they're my role models man and I pick good people to look up to so naturally they nurture and explain things to me. They are amazing, sometimes you meet your idols and they let you down this time NOT THE CASE.
BLKU: What about Russell Simmons?
AFRICA: I have met Mr Simmons so many different times through so many different people it's crazy since I am like 17 and I was street teaming the last time I actually met him with Bobby Shriver after the Amfar Gala and I grabbed a photographer and was like PLEASE take their picture it is funny cause you can see my hand in the photo... Anyway each time i meet him I meet a new man, it's like he evolves every second so the next time you see him he's grown leaps and bounds. And now he is doing this Diamond Empowerment Fund www.diamondempowerment.org which is so positive because he wants to empower Africans to help Africa and I am all about that. I love him for this because he went to Africa and for once unlike a lot of people he reported on WHAT IS WORKING!! HOORAY AT LAST so I am all about supporting him and that initiative so my second tattoo which is of Africa is branded in a way that nods to him.

Russell Simmons D.E.F and Bobby Shriver CO FOUNDER PRODUCT (RED) WIREIMAGE
BLKU: Yeah talk about that. So you are corporate branded.
AFRICA: Corporate no! But in a way yes I am a branded girl because the word inspired appears like it does in the RED campaign in what is called and EMBRACE that is the brackets you see around all the words like INSPI(RED) etc basically RED is embracing - hugging and kissing all of those who dare to make change with them. So I have it on my arm. And my right arm is of the African continent and bares my nick name Africa which DUH Russell Simmons doesn't own the African image not more than me but again the way his GREEN initiative logo is they put a point under the continent as if to say AFRICA EXCLAMATION and so I did that too. So yeah I'm " BRANDED" but it's an ode to the groups that do the work I live by. Do I want to be connected to that forever absolutely for better or worse IM IN! I was in my whole life that's an ode to my AFRICAN MOTHER!
BLKU: Who did the tattoos. On my board of my film festival are the principals of an amazing company called SEED GIVES LIFE www.seedgiveslife.com MY DEAR NOW FRIENDS!! Mike Ventura, Hawaii Mike and Albert Aazout do free design for my work to support me and so I called them cause they run this magazine called INK and literally the next day I was scheduling to get complimentary ink with one of NYs top tattoo artist TROY DENNING WWW.INVISIBLENYC.COM the dude is an artist and I'm so grateful for him blessing my arms and for making room, that cat is booked for about 6 months to a year ahead.

Suzanne Africa Engo and NY TOP TATTOO ARTIST TROY DENNING
BLKU: Cool so when do you run?
AFRICA: September to November I'll arrive in front of Oprah Studios November 17th my 30th Birthday
BLKU: Will Oprah be there?
AFRICA: I sure hope so I will have run a long way and I will be carrying important messages for her to read. I'm about to send her an official letter. Look she's OPRAH... that's all I have to say about that one.
BLKU: I read somewhere you will be stopping and talking to kids.
AFRICA: Yes stopping and talking at schools in a master class I will call AFRICA 101.
BLKU: Do you have sponsors?
AFRICA: YES, but the most important thing i need is my spirit.. I am going to run whether I stop and sleep on the side of the road or whether I sleep on a tour bus or hotel. I'm running honey that's my heart it has nothing to do with money. So I'll stick to my heart and leave it to GOD to help navigate me, through the rest of it I meditate and pray daily. GOD has never let me down so far. He is my sponsor.
BLKU: WORD! THANKS FOR CHATTING WITH US
AFRICA: NO PROBLEM SPREAD THE GOOD WORD DARLING. ASANTE!
