When I wake up in the morning and see the sunrise as I’m running, I thank God for new mercies every day. As I was running this morning I started thinking about this and you know how much I like to share my morning thoughts… LOL

I was out just thinking about my life and all the times that I wished that a door had opened. All the times I had promoters and people lie to me saying that they would help me... I remember wishing the bank would approve my loan request for a house or a car (usually one I couldn’t afford at the time). I wished that this person would help me or that person would do something to help my business, or this person would help my dreams come true.

In the world of music, every so often, we come across a unique individual.  An artist with the ability to write songs that people can feel, produce tracks that speak to people without lyrics on them, and someone who can target any race and any age of people.  This particular person that we’re speaking on today is none other than the artist, G-Status.

The young man has released 7 albums and 1 mixtape.  G-Status is now an award winning producer, singer and songwriter.  He’s been nominated for 11 awards in the last 5 years, including 5 in 2012 and 3 in 2011.  The artist’s album “Targeted”, which was released in 2010, was an award winning album.  That same album had 2 singles that charted as well.  G-Status has worked with several artists across the world in the areas of producing, mixing and mastering, songwriting, and featuring on their songs.  In the last 3 years, G-Status has mixed and mastered 50+ projects for many artists abroad.

He was like worried. It was one of those meetings where somebody is like, “Man you know, something is wrong with this prenup, and I need some help because I don’t want her to take everything.” And T.D. Jakes was there helping him, giving him advice, kind of guiding him rather, on what to do with his money so that it wouldn’t look like he had so much when the divorce happens. It was only T.D. Jakes and Deion talking. Fred wasn’t really saying anything, and the other guy wasn’t really saying anything. It was just a Deion and T.D. Jakes type situation.Were they the least bit uncomfortable with you being in the room considering what they were discussing? It seems a little odd that Deion would be comfortable with talking about that with someone in the room he did not know.NS: I wasn’t sitting directly in the room.
