N.O.R.E. Discusses Busta Rhymes' Involvement In "S.U.P.E.R.T.H.U.G." Album

As N.O.R.E. looks forward to releasing his next solo album, S.U.P.E.R.T.H.U.G., the veteran emcee has enlisted the help of a fellow New Yorker from his era: Busta Rhymes. In a recent interview with MTV's "RapFix Live," N.O.R.E. explained how Busta has played a role in the project. "He's been the person, when I was away and wasn't around, who would call me and say, 'Yo I don't hear no records on the streets, son,' " said N.O.R.E. of the Brooklyn emcee. "He's my peer and he's also a fan, but he wants to see me win. So why do anything separate?" N.O.R.E. clarified that Busta's involvement did not mean he was signed to Busta's Conglomerate record label. "I've been down too long to be anybody's artist. So it's a partnership, Militainment and Conglomerate as partners for the S.U.P.E.R.T.H.U.G. album." N.O.R.E. also addressed the possibility of a Capone-n-Norega reunion with Capone. "We're straight, we're brothers," he explained. "As far as recording, I don't know yet." "He has to love his job just as much as me, and I'm not judging him, but the thing is I actually love this. -- The Black Urban Times Is The #1 News Site For the Global Urban Audience. @Futuristicblog

50 Cent To Drop New Album July 3 Regardless Of Label Support

50 Cent’s anticipated mixtape is here, but 50 Cent has already proclaimed that his next album will drop on July 3, no matter what the conditions are surrounding the project. “There’s a lot more business involved [in putting out an album] than the general public is aware of. And that part causes the actual delay with [Interscope]. I’m releasing my album July 3rd, whether is has commercial promotions or not,” he told AllHipHop exclusively. “My birthday is July 6 and I planned for it. And I’m doing everything that I planned to do regardless if its huge airplay or not. I could care less, I’m putting the record out.” The untitled album has been in the works for a number of months and is reportedly finished at press time. Another project, Black Magic, was almost the fifth album from 50, but he scraped the entire project. Since his debut, Get Rich Or Die Trying, all of 50′s albums have been released via Interscope. -- The Black Urban Times Is The #1 News Site For the Global Urban Audience. @Futuristicblog

Ludacris Announces First Single "Jinglin" Off Of His Upcoming Album, Ludaversal

Ludacris is ready to rattle your speakers once again. The Atlanta rapper is set to release “Jinglin’” as the first single off his upcoming album Ludaversal, the follow-up to 2010’s Battle of the Sexes. The bass-heavy banger was produced by hitmaking duo Da Internz (“Birthday Cake,” “Dance (A$$)”). “This Ludaversal album is a statement,” said Da Internz’ Tuo, while Kosine added, “This album is crazy. We’re just happy to have a bunch of joints on there. We got a record that I think Chicago’s gonna be real happy when they hear it ’cause it’s like the Chicago sound, a little bit of that juke thang. And then of course we got some of that hood, that ‘A$$’ bass that you love. Da Internz swag is definitely on there.” Look for the song to hit iTunes by the end of this month. -- The Black Urban Times Is The #1 News Site For the Global Urban Audience. @Futuristicblog
