Friday night at Frank Ski's Restaurant & Lounge, hip hop star & actor, Common hosted an exclusive private screening of his new movie, LUV. Talented young newcomer Michael Rainey Jr. and Common play an impressionable kid and his badass uncle in this Baltimore-set coming-of-age story. Rapper Common Says: "Obama will change hip-hop's attitude"

The rapper Common wants to take hip-hop in a new direction, he says, and he has an unsuspecting ally -- President-elect Barack Obama. Obama "is going to change hip-hop for the better," predicted the rapper, whose eighth album, "Universal Mind Control" (G.O.O.D. Music/Geffen), hits shelves Tuesday.
